It's actually easy for me to blame pakistan for this mess. if Pakistan hadn't hidden Osama to start with all this mess wouldn't have happened.
If the stated objective of 2019 is to 'end terrorism', then that is what we will do. So far as 'avenginging' the attacks is concerned, we all know that in tthe end one way or the other you guys will screw up in a way that lets us do it.
As I said few days back, there won't be any further skirmish to take any kind of revenge, it will be stupid to do that. Don't have high hopes. India has different priorities now. China has taken over balochistan and want to keep India busy in Kashmir so that India can't concentrate on balochistan and china can send it's people to live there.
Pakistan can be handled any time covertly. Overt action is not possible now , there is no legitimate reason for going overt we have lost the chance and on world platform it will show India as an aggressor, unless until Pakistan does something again. I hope they don't, many lives get lost.
Priority should be China not Pakistan.
Pakistan won't concentrate all their terrorists in one location as juicy targets next time. Instead Pakistan may flood terrorist known hubs with kids, women. We shall be forced to hit PA/PAF bases anyway.
What's interesting to see is if Pakistan is willing to risk conventional conflict for terrorist attack. That's one of the reason why Pakistan is not opening its airspace because it doesn't like this new normal one bit.
I want to ask a question to all Indian members here.what do you think what will happen if there is another bomb blast in Kashmir? Do you think that a war will break out? And how many of you support limited war and how many of you support full fledged war? In my country pakistan,there is a concept that war will break out at any time.we know one blast can start a war.
There won't be a war, but there will likely be another air strike like Balakot.
As of right now, there is no interest in a war from both sides. Pakistan is too broke and India is in the middle of large scale modernisation.
Even if there is a war, it will be too small scale for it to affect cities as such. For example, there is talk of raising 3 IBGs by the end of this year, and obviously more the next year, as many as 8-10 in total. These IBGs are not going to push beyond the motorway lifeline of Pakistan, so it won't pose an existential threat. And even in this case, major cities will likely not be affected as much beyond air strikes. Unless of course Pakistan decides to respond with nukes, then that's a whole different game altogether.
Personally I believe there is no chance for even a short war until India completes its modernisation drive, which could take a year or two. And many years before India will opt for a long war, until a large chunk of the population has been skilled to a sufficient extent and pushed to middle class and above.

if Pakistan does not do enough to shut down terror on it's soil, we will take action against terror infrastructure inside Pak if needed
Two scenarios if there is another Terror strike:
a) if Pakistan has acted substantially against terror outfits (this time they shared intelligence, if they also cut funding, arrest people etc.), then India might hold back to let Pak continue the work. Expectation will be that Pak target the specific perpetrators of that terror attack behind bars.
b) If pak denies, talks BS we will escalate again. We will send troops, air strikes, drones if needed.
The quality of trolls has been deteriorating significantly. Maybe something to do with the defence budget cuts Gafool has been rambling about!! Besides, I'm not complaining, just stating the facts as they are. No fiction, or "I don't know much about that" statements
I don't see any Chance of war breaking out. from India POV, Monsoons have come this will have its own issues. we are in the middle of a transition, in military capability. While letting the old go and the new setting in, Indian armed forces will attain an unprecedented advantage over an advesary which is presently being implemented that system has to be battle tested post implenentation
, also, It will be much costly for us to go to war now than say a year or two down the line. Also,while we can use training ammo to deplete Pak's WWR. Then why waste effort in mobilization ?
