He is a very senior member on PDF.i think India should provide credible evidence because radar data have many things like handwritten things,drawings,I mean people are making fun of it but I believe the data is right but I can't convince others.

Is a short skirmish worth it when our economy is not in the best shape? there are reports that even defense spending will be stagnant. IA can retaliate whenever there is some militant attack etc.

You are funny, arn't you? Our economy is not in best shape? What about Pak economy? have you heard of long term attrition thru small skirmishes? Our aim is to finish off their spares for their weapons especially aircraft.
Sir, everyone knows that Pak economy is and will be in pretty bad shape for the foreseeable future. But our economic growth needs to be higher for the ambitions we have - this will happen in a couple of years. @Falcon had said somewhere that we will have our defense capacity surge around 2021-2022, not before that. So i thought that it makes sense to play a waiting and relatively quiet game unless provoked reasonable highly. Meanwhile our diplomatic efforts should increase.
Do armed forces like to be always in 'trigger-alert mode' - i thought that armies like to go for rapid action and low intensity conflicts are usually abhorred.
We are not going for full fledged war. Border skirmishes have been on since 1948-49 even after UN mandated ceasefire. Now it moves to air domain and will soon spread to sea domain also. We don't want anyone to invest in Pakistan and we want to ruin them with same addage which they used for us-Death by thousand cuts.

True but our govt. has decided this is the best way forward - bleed the enemy and tire it out. We have more manpower to rotate between hot and cold stations. They do not.
I have a very strong feeling after reading what @Arsalan123 posted about use of ATGM that Pak soldiers died while firing the chinese supplied ATGMs on our posts. It is well known that our posts have jammers in place for ATGMs. Lagta hai phir koi chini maal chalnay say pehlay hee phat gaya.

This will also cause a lot of stress on our soldiers, always being under the shadow of death has its negative consequences. Unless the govt. has gauged that Pak forces will be in a much much higher stress than Indian forces due to the disparity in resources and their preoccupation with their internal conflicts.
There also was another theory. We have targeted their ammunition depots in retaliation with help of UAVs and field artillery. The theory says that we hit a ammo depot which resulted in a blast which resulted in deaths. I myself believe this for the moment.
Pakistanis haven't released anything about another retaliation i think in April. We hit them hard, the whole post was deciminated along with a higher ranking official who was present. This time it were only sepoys, so they released the names.
PAF will not be able to fight north of Lahore Latitude as your AWACs will be shot down and your airports taken out by Brahmos strike from deep within India above that latitude.

Let us see it. You had Nukes and stated after our Myanmaar surgical strikes that India will never consider surgical strikes on Pakistan. We did it in 2016 and repeated it this year. Are you such a fool that that you dont see the writing on the wall? I request you to fire atleast one baber or RAAD towards India. You will see what happens to Pakistan after that? Our forces are still deployed along LOC and IB. Sindh and Multan are easy meat while Balochistan is already in our lap.
Whole of J&K including GB are Indian territory and you can't stop IAF flying in that airspace. We will now enforce our territorial rights over the air space of these areas. Karlo jo karna ho.
This kind of situation suits us - We can chug along nicely. We have units to cycle through after a couple of months. For Pakistan its not possible to sustain this kind of tempo beyond a few months. It needs units for CPEC. It needs units for Balochistan and Afghan Border. Apart from CPEC none of them can be considered a "Peaceful posting". Its troops will bear the burnt of the constant stress more than ours. Plus we have deeper pockets to sustain ourselves.
An open war damages the economy and the investment atmosphere which the Govt. does not want.
