Haha CPEC is included in this deal. Doklam has shown that neither side wants to fight a war with each other because it will destroy the ambitions of both powers. Even if we exclude all these factors still an overt Chinese involvement means world war 3 which again China will never risk.

I may be wrong but recent high level visits and recent trainings with China giving me hints about a real two front strategy.i hope it is true.plan have all the logistic support at Karachi and gwadar.their nuclear submarines frequently visits our ports.they have vessels in indian ocean on almost daily basis.You mean Chinese has more naval presence in Arabian sea than India?

Again, it all comes down to logistics, in Indian Ocean, Indian logistics challenge would be much simpler than the logistic challenges Chinese would face.
