There is a no rolling stone at all. What is being done is to streamline the people inside India. That's all. We have commitments with Saudis and Americans that India will not hurt their investments in Pakistan. And since there is a 75bil dollars investment by saudis in Gujarat it will be on target of PAF. Saudis will make sure that no destabilization or war or any sort of skirmish takes place.
India's diplomatic steps, politics happening in India do not signal to anything out of the box for Pakistan. Modi is not interested in doing anything before 2023. Coming to preparations, well its an ongoing process in India which never gets completed.

I have no disagreement with this approach but Kautilya didn't lived in a democracy. We have people with opinion and their opinion have influence to change the leadership. Its important to keep the spirit of common man high and thus optics becomes important.
How does one reconcile your posts in #13446 & #13448 especially the second post in #13448 ? Are we to understand that by bleeding PA on borders & intimidating PAF into keeping them flying deep within their territories we're inflicting huge damages on them to the extent that with their shrinking economy at some point this bleeding thru a few cuts will turn into a massive haemmorage and will suddenly result in a collapse of their political economy & their state? I wouldn't be too sanguine. Even if it means keeping them occupied on both the eastern and western borders with an increasingly restive populace with their own set of political as well as other grievances, the lion's share of the economy as well as the first priority will always be with the armed forces. It will be increasingly difficult for them to shoulder the burden but it's not impossible. Why shouldn't we factor in the Chinese shipping arms & ammo on easy credit or possibly free if the PA claims to the PLA & CMC that theirs is an existential battle. After all just we are gaming to fight the Pakistanis with the last Pakistani, China is gaming to fight India with the last Pakistani.
I'm afraid we aren't thinking this out well or even if we are, we're eschewing hard options preferring graduated responses underestimating the resolve or the resilience of the PA & the Pakistani state.

You know how I have always called revoking it a stupid move when you have same conditions in North East and Hill States. Now you have a spooked North East Separatist movement which has been peaceful, which is increasingly uneasy.
Then, for good measure, the Hindi language quip by Mr Shah on Hindi Diwas. Someone surely needs to recheck who comes out with such gem of moves without thinking things through.

The allocation in real terms is down, same was situation under UPA. They have no difference of policies with respect to Kashmir. Mere optics at work right now.
A370 or no A370 we still keep the territory which we had no extension no reduction. This was a strategic move to provoke Pakistan and take the issue to UNO which we have achieved. But those Pakistanis are clever, they are keeping the proxy on afeem in Kashmir at the same time trying to play diplomacy. But NO military intervention because they already know it's a trap.
Some how they need to be invited. Think!

Atropine and 2-PAM are drugs issued in IPE for Chemical Warfare as antidotes. The Injectors are worse than a bullet hitting you. As it needs to penetrate through the protective clothing and also into the mass of muscles on the thigh (Quadriceps), it hurts like hell.

What is the objective?
The removal of 370 and the actions planned by Pak have made a war mandatory. We can't have protests in J&K fuelled by Pak once the internet restrictions are lifted. We have to do a permanent solution now,
TBH, the credit for 370 went to Modi and our armed forces were left with "need to do more and efficiently". I wrote in my previous post that military failure is being compensated by economical and diplomatic clout, 370 was a precise response in later category.
There is no doubt that we as a nation have to operate as one, Modi or forces, for an objective. However I strongly feel sanctity of institutions need to be maintained over individuals.
After 2 months of lockdown, I somehow feel it to be a good move, which initially I thought to be a stunt. Reason being Kashmiris would know the reality now that no one in the world can support their unnecessary demands coming out of religious affiliations and Pakistan is in no position to do anything apart from asking Kashmiris of their own blood.
NE insurgencies can be worked out, politically.
