If they want the world to believe that IK is in control they need to do better than that.....
That can be taken care by a week long blockade..
Actually, if India (discreetly) asks oil producing countries, they will slow down the supply to a crawl. It will not be an overt thing, more of a procedural and technical thing. Ask any engineer or bureaucrat, if she wants to delay stuff there are 1000s of reasons she can give.
IMHO, unlikely.
Due to cloud cover, optical satellites are going to be useless, civilian or military. Which leaves only SAR, which is a classified capability.
We naturally do not have Litening footage considering standoff weapons were used.
At best, we can see the last few moments of the targets before impact using the Spice's CCD, but who knows when that's going to be released. Naturally, the IAF will want this classified, but may leave the govt some wiggle room for civilian release in an unclassified format.
So it's civilian satellites or bust.

There are many things we can do... Asking key oil suppliers to slow down the oil sale. Asking transporters to not sail to Pakistan. Sabotaging tanker hook-ups. Hiring too many tankers for no reason. Detaining tankers for sometime who are doing port visits and are likely to transport oil for pakistan. Lots of tools.

A blockade is very high up on the escalation ladder. There's plenty of stuff that we still have to do before the navy comes into the picture with all guns blazing.

A week long blockade won't be enough. All it will do is affect commerce at their port. They will have enough oil reserves with just a 1 week blockade, especially if civilian supply is rationed. A blockade has to last many weeks, that's when cities will stop getting food supplies. But this is pretty much being at war.
