Yeah, it came last weak or so.There was a NOTAM out for some 750+ kms apparently. I seem to have missed it.

Newer versions of warheads are in making, conventional and nuclear. And there are certain restrictions on what A1 and A2 can do. K4, Agni 5 and Prahar systems had access to technologies atleast 10-15 years ahead than what is in A1 and A2.
There's already A1P in making with the learnings from other latest missiles.
A1 isn't widely deployed, with latest developments, we need more of the kind, and it's better to implement contemporary Technologies, if and when we make more of A1 class missiles.
The flight altitude of Shaurya is depressed, not a true ballistic missile. A1 in its terminal stage is actually faster. A proper ballistic missile will replace the 700-1500 km range.
The concerns on mobility, storage and reliability are well placed and work is on them. Prithvi tests you see every 4-5 months tests new technologies on motors or guidance Systems in particular. Its not mere about the accuracy, the mobility dies matters. Shaurya is not as mobile as iskander and it cannot count as a theatrical missile like iskander.
And i am.even bit skeptical about it 10 m cep, tje prahaar missile which tested at the same time also having 10 cep, logically speaking with the same level of technical maturity in guidance, longer ranged missile.like shaurya should have a poor accuracy compares to prahaar.

A1P similar to A2P prime which is lighter?
So technology and composite motors from A2 P are applied across all systems?
Earlier he used to bring finest information regularly, now he is a laughing material.
Please don't discourage people. Pointing out errors is fine, everybody makes them. "laughing material" is too far.Earlier he used to bring finest information regularly, now he is a laughing material.
SMART was tested :
This stand off is doing wonders for our arms industry.
This year DRDO successfully achieved new generation tech which will be a game-changer in future warfare, Kudos to the DRDO team.View attachment 18082
Successful Flight Test of SMART
Supersonic Missile Assisted Release of Torpedo (SMART) has been successfully flight tested today 5thwww.pib.gov.in
Looks like an Alien tech missile from cold war time...
carrier missile is based on shaurya so if SMART can be deployed on our ships then shaurya can also be as a ASBM.
Its not Shaurya. Look at the photos you can see the fins on the missile. The Shaurya's characteristic trapezoidal fin is missing. Also it makes little sense to lob torpedos at hypersonic speeds. You have to slow down before the torpedo to subsonic speeds before hits the water. Else it will be broken to bits.carrier missile is based on shaurya so if SMART can be deployed on our ships then shaurya can also be as a ASBM.
They will be ship mounted, like the American ASROC. These will make it to destroyers, frigates & ASW corvettes. Some land applications may be there, but sea based deployment provides far greater flexibility of mission.I feel these missiles will be placed mostly Andaman and Nicobar Islands (Indra Point) to choke the Chinese ship
