Indian Missiles and Munitions Discussion

Going ahead you'd see a lot of indigenous platforms be it air , land or sea based rigged to be equipped with foreign read western armaments.

This is done for 2 reasons to buy time till local developments are successful & with a view on the China problem where we're developing contingency measures w.r.t production of local armaments which has it's own limitations in terms of the numbers it can churn out in a war vs the sheer numbers China can throw at us courtesy their national capacities in production of anything under the sun , being the factory of the world .
These are private companies but javelin had failed the trials in hot thar desert so it is not going to be used by army.

Also, saw this, why? our nag/amogha/asibal can do a job. I hope its temporary. Rus also offered Igla S local mfg now.

Aero India 2023: India's futuristic infantry vehicles to be equipped with Javelin ATGMs

Hopefully it's mpatgm mk2 otherwise we have to wait for another 10 yrs. Let's hope at least BDL gets the orders under make 2 not that stupid kalyani rafael screwdrivegiri.

Drdo is developing nag mk2 for ficv, but look at the sales pitch of this dalal he doesn't seems to know that nag has entered service.

Frankly now the pattern is very clear the moment we develop any indigenous alternative foreign countries agree for TOT on a platter to derail the orders of local system, rajnath singh had said right such fraud needs to stop.

Came across a CFD analysis related video in a presentation and this pic caught me a bit, nice surprise tbh. The interesting part is the SSM one top left side. Any guess what this could be or match with anything we have already? Does not look like Pralay.

ps: you can use the pic without credit or anything, i do not mind such. i take screencap from videos sometimes and those are mostly open source hence.

Btw, that hypersonic aircraft thing, that must be the dual use futuristic aim of hstdv project scramjet tech development, like this below in a presentation by Dr Shivatanu Pillai sir. It will take time but great research going on, time money huge effort everything.

That temp range above suggests LFRJ can not work in below zero condition? or is that normal range for rocket engines to work? Would like to know.

Saw this will be our own license/ip of liquid ramjet rocket engine. SFDR will develop both solid rocket engine (already have) and ducted ramjet together. Very important & realistic within the material related expertise within the country right now.

Hmm I remember that is exactly the parameter they conducted the cfd studies, managed to dig this out again from my bookmarked list after having doubt on the engine related part.
