This LORA order is projected in next 2 years guidance by BEL, which means there is very good lead time about this, which in turn means the user group wanted such a system for some time, probably have got a small stock in inventory as well. The factory which will manufacture this, and other ammo by BEL, is yet to finish work and still several months away. So take another 1 year, then the first batch of order spanning for 3-4 years & qualification. So By 2030s we will get locally produced LORA.
Similar reason, diversifying the inventory. All these are electronics gadgets run by software after all, and each offer own unique features. One size fits all philosophy rarely work for such high end gadgets both from volume & use case perspective.
