Indian Political Discussion

Yes, there are much bigger scams, you will see it come up in Election year. JanaSena Chief Pawan Kalyan has already blown the bugle against Corruption by CBN son Nara Lokesh, it was quite a setback for CBN, who thought TDP could ally with Jana Sena for elections, but Pawan Kalyan gave a Broadside to CBN.

Call it ruthless, but Kapus of AP never got any Political Representation. despite being more than 15% of population of AP.
If BJP plays its caste cards well, it could dent TDP prospects, (Remember AP is still Caste factor based)
The following is the caste-wise percentage of population in Andhra pradesh:

OC:

Brahman 3.0

Kshatriya 1.2

Komati 2.7

Kamma 4.8

reddy 6.5

Kapu 15.2

Velama 3.0

BC:

Balija 3.0

Boya/Besta 0.7

Chakali 4.2

Devanga 2.1

Dudekula 0.4

Gavara 0.4

Golla 6.3

Idiga 1.0

Jangam 0.4

Kammara/ Vishwa Brahmana 2.1

Kummari 0.9

Kurma 1.3

Munnurukapu 0.8

Mangali 1.3

Mutrasi 3.3

Sale 2.9

Telaga 5.2

Uppara 0.6

Waddera 1.8

Others 5.4

SC/ST:

Madiga 7.3

Mala 9.7

Others:

Muslims,christians etc 7.0

I don;t like these caste things as i say we are all Rishi Santaan. But if Opponents play dirty, all Bets are off. BJP should concentrate on promoting Pawan Kalyan's JanaSena Party in AP and Munnuru Kapus in TG .
To counter votes and make it favourable to vote for so and so party.

Is Pavan Kalyan getting any traction on ground? His brother and brother-in-law were big disappointments with Praja Rajayam experiement.

His brother was a total disappointment for everyone.
Pawan Kalyan can get a lot of traction if he can talk to the right community. and make TDP votes redundant.

Basically BJP needs to focus on getting good turnout...and it is very likely they will with a Modi vs everyone else scenario.

That in itself is why the opposition will not rush into making a grand official alliance I feel. Their best chance is to have loose alliances in play in various states and try stitch coalition post-election if they are somehow able to depress turnout for Modi by that. It is not very likely....its not one off specific by elections but massive numbers of districts, so resources will be spread thin....that favours BJP in status quo.

His brother failed in his experiment, but he is responsible for dividing TDP vote share in 2009 election which stopped CBN coming back to power.
If Pawan Kalyan goes solo in 2019, he will repeat history for TDP. Right now people of AP are angry with BJP, but in six months time it will fade and all attention will be towards CBN. He will find it difficult to escape from his responsibilities then.
AP folks might not pay attention to questions asked by BJP due to inherent anger, but the same question asked by Pawan Kalyan will generate a different reaction. It all depends how much noise he can make and how he brings up local issues. Election is a year away and lot can happen during this.

screw you. At this opoint even if BJP wins seats in any other states like maharashtra it won't have an impact on national mood- people have already made uo their mind. To say an election of a particular state will have no impact on national mood is stating the fact. Did winning NE change the outcome in UP? Don't give us lectures on national integration. No one has done more for national disintegration than you.

You Congressis are full of f*ckin shit. Were you integrating the nation by rigging elections in J&K which led to militancy? Or was propping up Bhindranwale and sparking the Khalistan Insurgency part of your grand plan for National Integration? What about using fighter jets to bomb your own citizens in the Northeast? Was that aerially delivered integration? What about dabbling with Tamil separatists? Integration? Go to hell.

Oh such nice and simble solutions. Basically bjp...basically India...basically y
The world....

Been around long enough to know wheat from chaff. In 2015 after losses in Delhi & Bihar , the Modi magic evaporated or so MSM wrote . This was followed by Bengal & Kerala. In 2017 , UP happened and MSM declared that inspite of demonetization , if the BJP won UP the way they won it , 2019 would be a formality . Then came Gujarat . In between, with the exception of Punjab , the Congress & it's supporters out here especially have been claiming one moral victory after another . Especially in Goa and the NE.

Do tell me ,assuming Modi loses in 2019 , does that translate into a Congress win ? Are you about to claim another moral victory in 2019?

P.S - This must be some record .6 posts to go and no Gauxxxx. Those testosterone suppressants are sure working well. Congratulations .You've all but managed to suppress the itch. Another moral victory ?

Lol until 2014 there was no bjp governemnt at all. You missed the whole field.

Flip flops are to protect his assets not Alliance, TDP future is what Andhra people call it already 'just google 'Andhra Pappu' , you will get images of pappu (Dal) and Nara Lokesh' This is the sentiment most of Rayalaseema and AP people share, call him Pappu Gadu, CBN is grooming Nara Lokesh as CM of AP, face it how long will IT Take for people to realize there are alternatives to TDP. I would have appreciated if a grass root worker of TDP was made head, that ain't happening its a family dynasty now.

I also saw this phenomenon that some people want BJP without Modi in 2019, I like to be frank, BJP won because of Modi and all soldiers on ground were pumped with enthusiasm at getting such a leader. its not everyday you get such selfless leaders. Just watch out TDP might become another Dynasty like Congress.
Rest assured how things will play out, there are also emerging options in AP.

So in 2019 people of andhra will realize what they didn’t realize in 30 years, that cbn is a pappu and so go out and vote for modi?

We split enemies.

Cheers, Doc

And created infinite more splits within India itself; not to mention, got made huge fools of at the negotiating table by Zulfikar Ali Bhutto (jisse Mumbai ki bhaasha mein kuch aur hi kehte hain, rhymes with bhootiya). But sure, keep riding on the coattails of Manekshaw's success in 1971, even though it was your party which frittered away most of his hard earned gains.

You couldn’t even win elections

You boggle my goddamn mind. So 2014 LS polls, controlling 22 states in India - including just recently sweeping the Northeast; were those all lost elections for BJP since Congress kept claiming moral victories after each one of them...?

Tu kahi paagal toh nahi ho gaya...?

Everyday in tea stalls there are jokers who talk about what they’d have done as president of world bank or president of Russ. Sure they criticize the said leaders but surely the value of such criticism is no different from that of a dog barking in the road

I thought Kerala puts down its stray dogs - why are you still barking then?
