Already deals are being made if its a hung assembly, JDS will join hands with BJP
H.D.DeweGowda has already admonished Siddaramiah for insulting him.
Congress CM himself stated there is a sharing of seats agreement between BJP and JDS.

Not PM Modi, not Yogi! BJP in Karnataka has its own “Star Campaigner” who is younger than Rahul Gandhi and is all set to defeat CM Siddaramaiah in Badami constituency
While Congress has paid all of its attention on the rallies of PM Modi and Yogi Adityanath, it has totally failed to curb the impact of another star campaigner of BJP. The 46 year of Member of the Parliament (MP) is silently decimating the dreams of Congress party in Karnataka and no one ever calculated that he will topple table in favour of BJP in nearly a dozen of constituencies.
BJP has unleashed its top gun PM Modi at the last moment and it has already started creating magic. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath is yet to enter Karnataka and even his rallies will be equally dangerous to the Congress, like that of PM Modi. So, the Congress party is trying to tag them as outsiders and curb their impact.
This firebrand leader who is younger than Rahul Gandhi is none other than Bellary MP B Sriramulu. The BJP had checkmated the Congress by announcing his name in the first list of candidates in the assembly elections. Speculations are high that he will also be the deputy CM if BJP comes to power and this is working wonders for BJP.
But while doing these gimmicks, the Congress has totally ignored B Sriramulu and that’s where the BJP has succeeded. Sriramulu is effortlessly garnering heavy support with his oratory skills in the rallies he address.
Who is Sreeramulu? Will he defeat CM Siddaramaiah in the Badami constituency?
“The battle is won if the commander is eliminated” and the BJP is following this principle very strictly. That’s why the BJP had sharpened its strategy to defeat the Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah in both the constituency where he is contesting.
Out of insecurity, Mr Siddaramaiah is contesting in Chamundeshwari and Badami constituency. In Badami, BJP had fielded its youth leader and the star campaigner B Sriramulu. Reports have also said that in the Chamundeshwari constituency, CM Siddaramaiah will taste defeat as JDS is surging ahead; even during Mr Siddaramaiah’s rallies in the constituency, the voters were seen raising their voice against him.
The caste politics of Mr Siddaramaiah has completely failed as giving minority status to Lingayats has gone wrong and it is said that Sriramulu has an upper hand in the region when compared to that of Siddaramaiah. In 2011, Sriramulu had come out of the BJP and had floated his own party named Badavara Shramikara Raithara (BSR) Congress and fought in the 2013 State Assembly Elections. The party had contested in 150 seats and had won in 4 constituencies.
Altogether, Sriramulu’s party had garnered 2.7 % of the total votes casted in 2013. This itself is enough to describe the charisma of B Sriramulu in Karnataka. Now the game plan of not dismissing the claims that he will be BJP’s deputy CM candidate has created a positive impact on the more than 20 constituencies.
“We have seen the kind of work he has done in our neighbouring district of Gadag. He has paid electricity, water bills for the poor, conducted so many mass-marriages at his expense,”
said a voter in Badami town.
Even though BJP has declared BS Yeddyurappa as its CM candidate, the youths have gone crazy after Sriramulu’s candidature. Now, it is up to Sriramul–who is younger than Rahul Gandhi– on how he will use himself to corner CM Siddaramaiah.
At present, the survey reveals that BJP might get around 95-110 seats!
Couple of surveys have said that BJP will just cross the majority mark whereas few other surveys have said that there will be a hung assembly. If there is a hung assembly, then the BJP needs to incline towards JDS.
In PM Modi’s first rally that was held on May 1st, he had bashed Congress for not respecting former PM HD Devegowda. It was taken as BJP’s hint of joining hands with JDS if there is a hung assembly. Even HD Deve Gowda held a press meet today and appreciated PM Modi for batting in favour of him.
So, if CM Siddaramaiah is defeated in both the constituencies, then it will be easy for the BJP and JDS to join hands by arguing that
“The people have rejected Congress’ CM candidate Siddaramaiah, so it will be against the mandate of the Kannadigas to join hands with the Congress”.
