How exactly is that possible? Who will vote Rahul and why? Why do you expect BJP to not up the ante during campaign if it finds itself in weak spot? Is there any reason for people to not vote BJP if RSS actually campaigns? In 2004, Vajpayee had made RSS angry and in 2009, Advani's secular Jinnah comment angered RSS, who kept out then too.
It's meant more for Bongo . After all , Momota claimed civil war is due and rushed to Delhi to claim support from the Gandhis. Knowing full well , that the TMC has traditionally preyed on Congress votes in Tripura , Assam and Bongo before . The same is true now . And how does RaGa & his mom respond - with constipated smiles and statements like - they'd support Momota for PM . Who's trolling whom ?
he will be congress president, congress will very high likelihood lead the coalition and Chidambaram/ Anthony/ (low likelihood) Tharoor might be PM. In the unlikely case that Congress Coalition doesn't cross the line, a highly fractured BJP will putter on until it loses the next election after a crisis ridden 4 years.

There is no meltdown. As I said, BJP is capable of upping the ante to any level which congress can't match. Even Bringing Priyanka will not help. BJP has so many cards under its sleeves which it uses on the policy of "one more than the enemey".
