Comparison is false....capitals are rarely entire states but just a district area. The district around Parliament and RB etc. can be zoned into a capital district and be ruled by Govt. Other state areas need to be administered like a state. Washingdon DC doesn't have even fraction of the people the state of Delhi has.

You should watch NDTV right now. The analysts who have visited on ground extensively claiming that all existing SP and BSP supporters have moved to Mahagathbandhan and that many BJP supporters have also shifted to MGB because they think the coalition is a good counter to BJP. Yadavs who voted modi now abusing him and moving to MGB. It's running now. Watch on your TV. If true then BJP is in really big trouble. All calculations that Modi will come back with reduced majority is getting a major beating.
