Unless you have some source or data to back the claim up its useless. My hometown has buses to Delhi every 5-10 min, there is barely one or two AC bus in whole day. Ticket of normal bus is around 260-270 and for AC one (not sleeper) is around 340-350. That's why I doubt your claim that AC buses somehow churning all the profit, their frequency is so less and difference in fare is not like Indian Railways. You are just making things up to somehow argue for sake of it. I prefer not to engage like this, good day.

This is the reason UPSTTC operates luxury buses ie to mitigate the losses occurred in normal janata bus services.
I’m not making anything. It’s fact.

I’m not saying that it could not have done better. But let’s face it, it’s a infectious disaster situation on global scale.
US was said to be most prepared to handle such situation and look the situation there. We are doing poorly but it was expected considering our preparedness and disaster management infrastructure.

Priyanka Gandhi offered arrangement of 1000 buses to help stranded labour, most probably a political move than a genuine effort as Congress governed states are not doing a better job.

Yogiji accepted the offer maybe to call her bluff or genuine interest to see how serious was the offer and a list of Drivers and Buses was asked.

Being in power came handy for Priyanka and she complied a list of buses mostly of Rajasthan private tour operators and sent it to CM UP.

UP Bureaucracy most probably thought that there won't be any list and we will shine in eyes of CM for scoring brownie points, the list literally rattled the masterminds as a successful use of the buses will help congress and earful from CM. So they did the best they do.

A Letter was issued at midnight (around 12) asking details of Driving License, Fitness Certificate, complete information of Conductor and the buses to be delivered to Lucknow by 10AM in the morning.

Lucknow is not a border district, it's in the middle of state, first there is no sense to bring empty buses to lucknow, second the time given was 10 hours. You have to furnish all the details, prepare buses and bring them some 300km all in 10hours.


This is how serious our ruling class is towards labour. In case you make a genuine effort be ready to be harassed so that politics and optics is not disturbed.

Shit show continues for 3rd day.

This is Chankaya moment for BJP where they are hell bent on destroying whatever little good will they had left during this crisis. Entertaining the letter was big mistake and now doubling down while TV continues to show the buses is only damaging it further.

Yesterday, the Uttar Pradesh government had exposed the fake claims of Priyanka Gandhi, whose list of ‘1,000 buses’ to the state government turned out to be a fake list of dozens of blacklisted autorickshaws, and two-wheelers instead of real buses.

Taking to Twitter, the Haryana Congress leader wrote,”Congress just wanted to help migrant workers reach home, and was willing to spend money for it, but the ‘Bisht’ government started politicising the matter. Only Sanghis wearing Bhagwa (saffron) can do such leech (lowly, disgraceful) activities.

Punia’s hatred of Hindus was evident in the nest line of his tweet. He further wrote, “These people, (BJP and its supporters) are the ones who exhume corpses and rape them. They get naked in front of their daughters and masturbate while chanting Jai Shri Ram slogans.”

Can you please post that twitter post. It is impossible for me to believe that a Jaat can post something so stupid. My family had very good relations with Jaats who served under Maharaja Surajmal. We taught them warfare again. They were always Kshatriyas of our society but reduced to being agricultural servents by Rajputs.
Rajputs too were Kshatriyas but came to be known as Rajputs as their family members at some stage were Kings. Most Indian kings had multiple marriages but only the elder son became a king. Those who were born of him and did not become kings started using Rajputra as a separate classification. And that is how Rajput word was born.
Most of you will never know that the infamous City of Gazni was actually established by Jaat King called Maharaja Gaj Singh in 7th century and those Jaats when converted to Islam raided India. Turks, Persians and Arabs took over 350 years to convert these Jaats to Islam. The first ever war across river sindh took place in 1025 AD after these Jaats had converted to Islam. In 622 Ad and till 712, Arabs could not break thru Indian defences supported by kings of Central India. Arabs were thrown out in 732 AD. The Persians fell and converted to Islam in 657 AD and that was the time when Islam crossed Gibralter and set foot in Europe.
BUT, the Jaats of Khorasan and Kandhaar, stood up to Arabs and Persians and Central Asians including Mongols. Later Turks converted to Islam and it took joint forces of Turks, Persians, Mongols and Arabs to take over Afghanistan, and that too by deciet. That is the reason that we find Pakistanis suddenly calling themselves to be Turks.

Hindi belt in India is ruined. They are only involved in home politics and ego problems within family. Ghar ke Sher! That's the correct word,, introverts and koopmandook.

Hindus after women of their own Hindu fellows, run after other's poperty and which is not theirs. It's in Mahabharat and Ramayana. This region will stay like this. Apney hi apney ko marenge. No tradition no culture.

Sri Ram and Sri Krishna are now only in books.

It was always like that. It’s in our genes. Don’t forget that Mahabharat was fought in Kurukshetra (Hindi hinterland) and not in South.

Sir, its only when our survival mode kicks in, we do well. Otherwise we used to undermine each other. Our history is filled with examples. This weakness was used by every invader against ourself.
Some call it “Divide and Rule” but what I understand is We never needed any attempt to divide.
Now a days politicians use it to garner votes.

That will be needed only for muslim woman and not for non muslim woman. If a muslim man rapes a non muslim, he will still be tried under sharia but the evidence act of India will become applicable. So he will face the normal trial but will be convicted as per sharia. Stoned to death.
