This is the reason UPSTTC operates luxury buses ie to mitigate the losses occurred in normal janata bus services.These two are different things. Overall profit can be made by any segment and can be used for anything to achieve no profit no loss.
Unless you have some source or data to back the claim up its useless. My hometown has buses to Delhi every 5-10 min, there is barely one or two AC bus in whole day. Ticket of normal bus is around 260-270 and for AC one (not sleeper) is around 340-350. That's why I doubt your claim that AC buses somehow churning all the profit, their frequency is so less and difference in fare is not like Indian Railways. You are just making things up to somehow argue for sake of it. I prefer not to engage like this, good day.

I’m not saying that it could not have done better. But let’s face it, it’s a infectious disaster situation on global scale.
US was said to be most prepared to handle such situation and look the situation there. We are doing poorly but it was expected considering our preparedness and disaster management infrastructure.
