Build quality of Indian Warships doesn't look that great to be Honest.....hope in future along with new design they also look for refinement as well.....Quality will always triumph Quantity anyday ( if both than sonay par suhaga )
There have been multiple reports of build quality issues by HII's DDG-51 class. Same issue was reported for fincantieri.
Whole LCS class is like a dark spot on build quality. Then we have the very beautiful Prince of Whales which broke down it her maiden voyage. Same with PLAN's Type 052D.
So, specially mentioning build quality of Indian warships doesn't make sense.
Even they are having issues with their FFM class. The project was supposed to be of 20 vessels but now it will be only 12. A new improved class will be developed and 8 will be procured.
Naval News notes several issues that led to the early discontinuation of the Mogami-class in favor of a more advanced follow-on, citing problems such as the layout of the equipment room and mooring capstans.
