I know. I was staying very close to IISc and used to go their frequently to meet some profs. When the attack happened, my heart just stopped knowing how vulnerable these people are.

I can't really blame the police, since Karnataka has been a very peaceful state and Karnataka police was never exposed to such kind of attacks. But being the Silicon Valley of India, at least now Bangalore should have trained commandoes.

How do you know someone is going to shoot one's head off? This, the increased incidence of suicide, is a trend that is reflective of overall problem in the society. As the society has moved to materialism, failure to meet rising expectations is the raison d'etre for such instances. Since when is the Government and the Services responsible for the stupidity of the people? Result of Indian slogan of 'jab bhi khada hua, bachcha paida hua' Aukaat hai nahi ek apni zaroorton ko is materialistic world mein puri karne ki, paida karne chaley hain bachche.

Kuch to pehelay soch ke likha karo.

Sir i know the Government and services are not responsible but what I am asking is our soldiers are posted in disturbed areas for quite long time , away from their families , no guarantee of survival to see the next day , a gunmen from any corner can shoot him and end his life. With such constant fear of life there ought to suffer mental stress and trauma , suicides can be one of the outcome of such post trauma stress. Sir i am specifically talking about suicides of soldiers.
Does services have any kind of system to ease a soldiers such level of mental stress?. I am talking about doing more for a soldier specifically engaging in battles almost everyday eg Kashmir.
Sir what materialistic ambition can a crpf soldier from a village in UP/Bihar/Maharashtra with his wife , small kid and old parents have? Cater for his family by risking his life , nothing else.

It was worth it..

Karan thappar when quoted newspaper mentioning separate flag Nagaland will be given... Like that..

It clearly warns us about risks that had be solved in future..

I don't personally feel Constitution diversity need to be preserved.

Culture, language , religion all ok.. Within the reasonable limits for human life.. But why Constitution?

I definitely feel when idea is for greater cause, means are not important.

Seriously, how can India tackle such problem?

On one hand our soldiers with intense passion for service to the nation put their lives at risk and sacrifice the feeling of completeness which one gets when being with their family.

And with the direction where our society is trending, promiscuity and sex out of marriage is becoming casual, for men as well as women. And our soldiers' lives are not spared from this trend. This leads to intense emotional conflict leaving one being cheated.

How can India address this?
