Jammu & Kashmir live updates: GOI remove all provisions of Article 370

Well, that is a rather big hint. @_Anonymous_ What you predicted might happen a Month or two sooner...

The revocation of Article 370 and bifurcation of the state of J&K in itself is an incomplete act. It's just Act 1 Scene 1 of a play. I think that much should be obvious. As to retaking of PoK, that's Act 3 . Also a lot of fill in the blanks need to happen before we reach Act 3 and the climax of the play. There are quite a few things up in the air as of now . But let's wait & watch. As time unfolds a lot of these missing pieces of the puzzle will fall into place.

Posturing. Our objective right now is to cement Kashmir's legal status and we seem to have laser focus around it. Military action is probably to posture against misadventure by Pak rather than to target it as we complete this process.

excellent, so we're beginning to wrap this one up. If the 'protests' are marginal then the whole thing would have been nicely done on all fronts. Great work till now.

Nobody talks about the dozens of temples, some of them very ancient destroyed or occupied by squatters in the past 3 decades . Not a single English language print or AV MSM has ever aired this info or will air it. It just doesn't suit their agenda. Like the KP's they're overlooked for remembering them just doesn't fit into the "secular" Narrative.

And one more thing... Even if we acquire the whole of Pok, we would only touch the wakhan corridor of Afghanistan... It is a long narrow stretch vulnerable to a pincer movement from China and Pakistan. To put our Afghan plans on a transport corridor through wakhan, would be folly..
Please check the map for the border China shares with Afghanistan & the distance from the Chinese border with Afghanistan to the border Gilgit agency shares with the Wakhan Corridor and let me know how is outflanking possible without the Chinese entering the Wakhan. That's how China supplied the Mujahideen during the Soviet occupation. The so called Northern Areas specifically Gilgit Agency shares a 105 km long boundary with the Wakhan Corridor. There are motorable roads there. These roads may not be in the best conditions or even all weather but there's trade happening thru it though the preferred area to access the Wakhan is thru Chitral. If we happen to reach as far as the Afghan border thru Gilgit, we might as well factor in Chitral as well coz it's adjoining the Gilgit Agency.Besides, it's the air corridor which will grant us maneuverability and that where my emphasis was.
