The tweet is from Anantha Krishnan M :

"MAY BE in the next 10 days. These are fighter planes and there are many things that need to be factored in before FF. This delay is NOT owing to HAL. SP-21 meanwhile has undergone painting and will fly in AF colours right from Day-1. HSTT/LSST next, MAY BE. "

I might be wrong but as far as I have read, no one has ever been able to make conformal fuel tanks a viable option for modern delta winged fighter jets. Rafale was experimented upon too. Eurofighter was being tested as well.
BAE Systems begins new round of CFT trials for Typhoon | Jane's 360
Typhoon was to undergo a conformal fuel tank retrofit as part of its P4E upgrade program, didn't really follow it up.

CFT is used as a last resort, when internal fuel doesn't cut it and drop tanks take up too much space. Typhoon and Rafale have not reached such a stage yet.

Mig-29 SMT now comes with a CFT option in order to increase range due to its pathetic internal fuel load.

Same reason for the F-16. Newer blocks have become heavier and need more thrust. So existing fuel tanks are no longer enough.

SH Block III now comes with more weight and higher thrust engines, hence CFT is needed to offset the difference and add a little extra over that.

BS configuration.

2+2 and 4+2 is the maximum operational configuration for most fighter jets. Anything more than that drastically affects aerodynamics.

Also even missiles have their own service life and sortie limits, so the more missiles you carry, the more broke you get.

That is why this Theory is BS that
" IF we had Rafale we would have won
On Feb 27 "

YOU cannot put Rafale and Meteors on CAPS -- Missiles lose their useful lives
After every Sortie

Neither you can have 24 / 7 CAPs

The only way to stop enemy from attacking is to have long Range SAM cover

And then immefiately fire Missiles at the Bases where they came from

Or keep 100 aircraft ready for
Immediate counter attacks

Dhanoa's assertion is only in the hypothetical scenario where Abhinandan was flying the Rafale and flew it like the Mig-21, which is not going to happen in real life anyway. Would have been more believable had he said MWF instead of Rafale.

You can.

You can.

You don't need many aircraft around for CAP.

Rafales would be our Silver Bullet

They will only be used for Offensive Fighter Sweeps

For CAPS , buy More Mig 29s

Rafale will be used for CAP also. Rafale will do all missions.

How can we do so along 3000 km of border , And for How many days

In 15 days , how many missiles will loose
Their Service lives

24/7 CAP is during war time, not peace time. No missile will lose its service life in just 15 days even if you manage to keep the same missile in the air 24/7.

I dont agree with you

First of all we will have to get our pilots
Fully Operational on Rafale , Tactics and Battle plans will have to be developed especially in conjunction with Su 30 MKI

ALL this will take time

So for regular CAP , we will use Mig 29s and Mirages

Even MiG 21 is just good for Point Defence as ORP

So you mean to say that All the Stress and Strain of a Fighter plane , the G forces
The Supersonic speed , Air friction , Moisture will Have NO Effect on the Electronic components of the missile
Especially those like the Seekers
