Please read the campaign of Gen. Zorawar Singh and you will know from whom he had won Laddakh and who's territory was Aksai Chin. Event the Agreement signed between Dogras/Sikhs and Tibet govt recognised the map of Laddakh which is close to what India had claimed. But 1865 claimline shifted the Indian claim further East. The Indian true claimline should be from Lanak La to Haji Langar.

Aksai Chin was part of Silk trade route and was used by carvan passing from Tibbet to Xinjiang. There was no other land route to trade with Chinese empire. Read about Dzungar Khanate Empire, then Dalai Lama bestowing of title and then succession by Qing Dynasty empire of China. Maps are already there on internet, do check them if interested. Aksai Chin will be found inside those empires if you carefully check the maps.

LoC is mutually agreed upon while LAC is not.
Rather India should fix a deal with China to come in Pak for action. Who ever wins, will take Pak

The funny thing is that there is a GoI note of 1899 which alluded to accepting Aksai Chin part of China and Mr Nehru, our usual punching bag for all ills, actually claiming it
