I don't think it was a big deal to accept few soldiers captured by PLA and later set free after today's video of IA.
Either this pic was genuinely staged or we are taking 0.5 front war seriously and ventured into gray zone of Info-warfare.

Read between the lines. It's clear that the PLA initiated aggressive measures which resulted in a situation recorded for posterity by the above photos followed by the IA / ITBP giving them a dose of their own medicine which the incident captured in the video circulated earlier today was a part of thanks to quick mobilisation by the IA & the PLA has backed off for the time being.
You won't find confirmation of either incident by both the PLA or the IA.

I think this video is an extension to the earlier released video. Clearly one can see that Chinese soldier is not alone and There are huge number of Chinese soldiers on their side and at the end of the video, Indian Soldiers are hurling stones at them. Can somebody translate what our troops are saying ?
And if all these news are fake..Govt should come forward and clear the air....

I don't think the the picture is fake it seems that they have used this picture out of context. One of the chinese forums from where I got to know about the photo said that it was a car accident of an IA convoy near pagong tso lake and the PLA were the first responders. This photo is being used like propaganda making it misleading. The video shouldn't have been leaked this unfortunately may escalate the situation unnecessarily
They're requesting the Chinese in extremely polite language to go back to their side of the LAC. The Chinese impressed by the manners & etiquette displayed by the IA / ITBP seem to be obliging them. It's a very solemn occasion. This is how disputes ought to be resolved.

What I could gather from the publically available information, that he was indeed a man of stature and accomplished quite a lot. Even if for just six months, he did won over Laddakh and parts of Tibbet state in battle. However it's also undeniable that he won the battle but war had not ended. Due to extreme cold, he & his army suffered heavily, hence lost at the hands of Tibbet and its Chinese allies.
Next point, I am not aware of any such military engagements done by Maharaja of Kashmir to be honest. If you can share, I will definitely go through the relevant material.

The defence ministry has sought 11 special trains to move workers from Jharkhand to Jammu and Chandigarh from where they will be taken to areas close to the China border for building roads, three officials familiar with the matter said on condition of anonymity.
The move comes even as Indian and Chinese soldiers are eyeball to eyeball at four locations along the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh.
“There is no question of halting work on the road projects because of the standoff that could go on for weeks. The working season has begun and we cannot waste time,” said one of the officials cited above. He said some work has already started on the strategic Darbuk-Shyok-Daulet Beg Oldie road in Ladakh.
A second official said 11,815 workers will be transported on the 11 trains, and then be ferried to border areas in Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, where the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) is constructing important roads. The Union home ministry asked the railway ministry on May 22 to arrange the special trains from Jharkhand to Jammu and Chandigarh, said the second official.
This person said Union home minister Amit Shah discussed the issue of workers with Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren on Thursday when he spoke to chief ministers about the next phase of India’s exit from the ongoing lockdown. “Most of the workers are from Dumka. The state government will let the Centre know when they can go and work in the border areas.”
Home ministry officials said the trains will be operated as per the standard operating procedures dated May 19 on the movement of stranded workers during the lockdown.
China has marshalled close to 5,000 soldiers and deployed tanks and artillery guns on its side of the disputed border in the Ladakh sector where India has also sent military reinforcements.
HT on April 28 reported BRO’s plans to induct up to 40,000 workers to carry out the construction of key roads and tunnels in far-flung areas in the forward areas along the China border despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Infrastructure development along the border areas is an important requirement for both military and civilian purposes. Infrastructure building in our areas will continue as per the plan,” said Lt Gen SL Narasimhan (retd), a top China expert and a National Security Advisory Board member.

It said the workers will be quarantined for 14 days after they arrive in Ladakh and social distancing norms will be strictly followed during the construction work.
BRO’s peak working season extends from May to November. Migrant workers are a key part of the organisation’s workforce involved in building strategic roads in Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim. It plans to complete all 61 strategic roads assigned to it along the China border by December 2022 to allow swifter mobilisation of troops and stores to forward areas.

Don't know. This is the same bs that happened during balakot. We have such conflicting reports in cases like this. It was same during the mig 21 engine misunderstood as the f 16 engine it only weakens our agenda in such matters. The car accident claim was made on some Chinese forum that I ended up on. Now Gaurav Arya and the lot are saying the photo is fake but nobody is debunking the claims. Now another tweet has come saying that the photo was 10 pla kidnapped 5 ITBP soldiers. Another Chinese forum was saying that PLA went and ganged up on our guys. The 75 IA soldiers injured news is true. So the propaganda is not fake from the Chinese atleast for now. But it is older than the events on the India army video. The video action was basically us avenging our 75 bravehearts. We basically brought more personnel so the situation is back in our control for the moment.
