Couple days back, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang made a statement that China has over 600 million people earning under 1000RMB per month, which is US $140/month. They are very low paying jobs in MSMEs which are severly impacted by COVID-19 situation and are not expected to return soon.
This is going to cause massive social unrest if the economy does not pick up.

About 4-5 weeks ago, I had a detailed chat with a very senior RSS guy who is also part of Financial Task Force and works directly with NS. We discussed incentives for industries moving to India from China and how to lure them. I had told him that ASEAN has nearly 12% advantage in cost of manufacturing due to cheaper labour and lower corporate taxes and they also have their supplylines into China when compared to manufacturing in India. So these nations will remain the first choice for anyone moving out of China. I offered three action plan to him to offset this 12% advantage of ASEAN countries,
- We must give rebates to offset the cost of shifting and also give tax breaks for five years. These 5 years will help them grow big and have a much larger market space to operate. NS did announce this.
- Openly declare that India will not join RCEP and any FTA with any nation will be bilateral agreement. NS did announce this also.
- The goods produced in a country will be declared as having been produced within that country only if over 80% manufacturing and raw material is sourced from within that country. This is to offset the supplylines which extend to China of these ASEAN countries. This has yet to be announced.
What I have been told is that 100% companies which have held talks with India to relocate to India have accepted these arguments.
I am sick and tired of reading and listening to what China can do, I want to know what options do we have? What can we do?

Shiv Aroor miscalculated here. He should have done his own research and mentioned the OSINT account as a reference nothing more. These OSINT accounts should be not given space in mainstream media. This account might neutral and objective but a lot of them are Pakistani stooges. It is like opening the doors for them to be given an audience.
