Line of Actual Control (LAC) : India & Tibet Border Updates

I don't believe we will be at fault in case we attack Pakistan first. Then China will be seen as the aggressor in case China attacks after India's invasion.
I did not get your point. Are you saying that if there is a war with China then we should leave that from and settle the score with Pakistan first?? Or you have an entirely different definition of war.
Furthermore according to me a two front war scenario would happen after much deliberation by both of our adversaries meaning they would attack us simultaneously hence not giving us time to attack either of them 'first'.

Have you guys noticed @Falcon is not his usual self.. He is aggressive nowadays..

I think..He is doing it for morale of people..

We shouldn't feel as loser without even knowing what our forces are capable off..

We also need to keep everyone morale up..

I understood from his reply to my tiny message which was not even tagged to him..

I realized his efforts, when I discussed current stand off in my What's app group.. First question one guy put out is.. How much territory we lost.

I was dumbstruck.. Then I had to do what Falcon is doing..

Then even I became serious and started avoiding Chinese goods strictly.

When government cannot outright ban Chinese goods, we public can..

Like Malaysia.. But with more efforts.

We all should be United with our efforts..
Chinese shouldn't even think of touching us..

Idk why but when we talk about China...Indians start assuming we are losing or we will lose and we have to go for facing saving deal...

PRC miscalculated. And with each passing day, Indian forces are increasingly confident of burying the master and the slave in the area.
I don't understand why would PRC and PLA do such things if they are at a military disadvantage at a particular location. They've probably not assessed the situation correctly. They'll have other means at their disposal though to pressurise us.

I also think that our political leadership was firm and yet was discreet and this helped to diffuse the situation. Also, now, the higher ups should not publicly gloat over this. Over to Pak Army to think what to do.

Some of the steps we should take to keep China in check in my humble opinion

1) We should openly start talking about chinese vulnerability ,one off statement from navy chief like "if push comes to shove Chinese vessel in the indian ocean will be at the sea bed " won't do any harm.

2) We should also start talking about Tibet openly that in case of war China won't be able to keep it with itself.

3) We should absolutely not allow any companies who operate in pok /gilgit /baltistan to operate in India ( especially Chinese and Korean).

4) We should not be afraid in telling Chinese that cpec investment done by it has the same fate like Titanic.

5) We should not shy away from inviting Australia ,Japan , Vietnam ,Philippines in Malabar exercise .

6) absolutely no mention of one China policy sans reciprocity.

7) make China invest in govt owned securities/bond

8) use anti dumping provision on the Chinese companies not having manufacturing base in India.

9) check the sudden spike in electronics import from countries like Singapore,Malaysia etc ( they might be used as a conduit)

10) seek reciprocal access and give a time frame to tackle trade deficit ,in case this continues with in two /three years try to find Desi /friendly substitute and backtrack on trade with China citing national security (WTO has provision for that).

11) impose blanket ban on export of minerals like iron ore etc instead force it to open pharma /automobile/services sector
12) use non tariff barrier in case of China continue to use it like in the case of rice/meat export from india

First of all, govt should have courage to ban or put limited cap on import of hawa hawai. If that's not done then forget the rest.

Time to launch Operation KICK (Kick In Chinese Knickers)

Honestly. The area of interest right now in Gallowan Region. My dream to see PLA move into the area in aggressive moves.

You will see what burying an enemy will mean then.

They have started withdrawing from
Galwan Region

But why are they still maintaining a strong presence in Gogra area. Is to allow them rapid thrust down south? Is it because of Kongka La which offers them better logistics and ability to quickly dominate southern part of LAC.
If they take over that southern area, they will be able to cut off Chusul also. That IB at sirijap gap has a very small lake frontage which can be quickly bridged to give them rapid access to Chusul.

Hello Sir!

Is there something called "LAC" in Ladakh as far as IA goes? If yes, what is its formal defition and where it has been defined? Politicians have never defined it formally. They have signed treaties with that term but they have never shown what they mean by LAC ever. LAC was first used by Chinese in 1956 and Nehru - rightly so - rubbished it. China's LAC is same as their claim line from 1960 because they pushed us in '62. India's claim line was so called Johnson-line. This puts us civvies in a bit weird and confusing position when media calls out infiltration and occupation.

Best I have come across from military leadership is "our LAC SHOULD be same as Johnson line" or "Its a regression that we are talking about LAC, we should be talking about Johnson line". I agree with this idea.
Just shoot them if they cross IB
Hakka noddles 🤬
I have a better idea, send a little bit of a party to interrupt and break the road connecting CPEC, into chinese territory. If our civilian leadership is not scared enough, this is one thing which will immediately rattle Chinese.

No, I mean in case of a two-front war, if we attack Pakistan first, before China attacks India, we won't be seen as the aggressors. Especially considering Indo-Pak history.
