China is not a fool irrespective of these juvenile articles. It may attempt to start a skirmish and keep it local to check effectiveness of PLA. Infact, CCP realizes PLA's inexperience. Their real motive is to detest India from escalation beyond local gunfight, mortars and arty duels.
PLA shall try their highly trained troops to throw out IA from dominating heights and it's looking for a guarantee to save its face like Galwan. If they win, they win, if not then "doosra banda", "crows and trees", and all synonyms of their soldiers/militias arbitrarily applies.

Right now it looks like they are trying to find excuses to avoid a conflict in winter. Push it to the next summer when it's favourable to them.
If we wait for them to start the skirmish, it will always be on their terms. Whether local or not, IA should take the initiative, that way, we decide the when - what - how of the offensive and they have to deal with it. I wonder if my thinking is correct or not, experienced people can say, but allowing the opposition to have the openers advantage every time is not good. It is like playing chess, and always playing with the black pieces.

So during the month of April when PLA did a major incursion in Ladakh Sector, it also started carrying out construction activities in Upper Subansiri District.
I have attached 4 images depicting changes on ground. It's the area between Longju and PLA's C shaped Company Post at Maja, Upper Subansiri District.
Coordinates: (28.6050389, 93.4004721).
This construction is approx 3km inside India from Google Earth IB marking.
PLA is well known to have occupied this area since 2000s. Some background abt the occupation can be read here : Despite Modi-Xi bonhomie, China moves into Arunachal Pradesh, builds new road and barracks
1st Pic is from March, Shows no changes on ground.
2nd Pic is from April. Here they had started clearing the vegetation
3rd Pic is from May. By now whole area seems to have been leveled up.
4th Pic is from August. I couldn't get a clear image from the month of June and July due to cloudy weather. By August there seems to several structures assembled. It could be new camps to house soilders due to current standoff? Not sure.
Any Satellite expert who can help to figure out what it is?

I doubt if we even have 20-30 Nirbhays in our inventory. Due to it's initial failed tests, it didn't clear IOC/FOC and the forces are still requesting trails. The ones deployed must've been those produced for trails which I assume would be in limited numbers
This is similar to the 2-3 DRDO/Tata WhAP that has been deployed in Ladakh recently

How can a missile system be deployed without user trials ? I guess there were Army trials post the last successful Development trial in 2019.. Dont think DRDO scientists would be manning the systems on the LAC.. Something is quite shady here..
They, the chinese, indeed are highly incompetent and Cowards. "Der aayi, durust aayi, akal aayi to sahi". Finally, India has realized "again" that china is the same wicked animal of the '62 who cannot fight head on but only poke from sides. After losing 20 men in Galwan, the Indian Government has given orders to shoot the chinese PLA if they come closer than 100 meters.
This has broken the backbone of the chinese strategy and have completely restrained them in their art of land grab through deception, which they successfully accomplished by tying the opponent's hand with those agreements of the 90's. India has trashed them and thrown them in the dustbin. And now these cowards will think 100 times before grabbing any territory.
Their whole posturing created out of hundreds of billion of dollars of annual military budget is now NULL and VOID. They as men have Zero guts and now the EGO of the CPC and PLA is trampled in front their own citizens and the whole world.
If china really had something technologically proven, they won't be deploying the Russian systems in Ladakh. Propaganda is CPC's biggest tool, and they successfully use it in every aspect of interaction - their own citizens and internationally. It is just mind games. And India has ended playing on that front by declaring them as Scorpions with a poisonous sting to be kept more than 100 meters of distance. Closer than that, kill them.
The chinese military technology is a paper tiger. Which country in the world has successfully demonstrated the prowess of the chinese low quality toys? Our western neighbor also are skeptical of what they get from china.

Question -
Drones are a force multiplier, using swarms of food delivery drones with explosives will be a nightmare scenario. How do you defend against something like that? Even if you have Helicopters with AAMs, imagine the number of helicopters needed to shoot down a swarm of 100 drones!
Also, it is very easy to overwhelm the opposite side if you have truck loads of drone with you for use.
What's the solution? At present, how can IAF counter this?

Why not. Even if you get 100 drones intruding from Chinese side, with each Rafale carrying over a dozen BVR for a dedicated A2A mission to bring down those many Drones. If I am not mistaken, even the MKIs can track over 10 targets at a time and hence they can also do a dedicated A2A mission to bring down those many drones.
