Aadil - Based on information available, Chinese have deployed troops equivalent to 3-4 divisions. Of which, bulk of troops come from mechanized and motorized divisions under Xinjiang MD. So, tanks and IFVs were already there. And in substantial number. Have the Chinese moved+

Infantry is still there it seems. At best its a climbdown. I guess we ll keep positions where we have advantage, Chinks can walk upto Finger 4. Situation has not resolved.

BEIJING, February 10. /TASS/. Armed forces of China and India began withdrawing troops from the shared border near the Pangong Tso lake, in accordance with earlier agreements, Chinese Defense Ministry announced Wednesday.
"Both sides simultaneously commence the planned withdrawal of forces from the border in accordance with agreements, achieved during the 9th round of negotiations at the army commanders’ level," the statement says.
Chinese and Indian forces clashed in the region in May and June 2020, resulting in at least 20 Indian and 45 Chinese servicemen dead. Following these incidents, New Delhi and Beijing increased the concentration of forces in the region to about 50,000 people each.

Feels strange that PLA casualties came out on same day of disengagement, surprisingly on Russian media.

I will believe the entire thing once it happens. Multiple times before this we have heard talk of disengagement and it always ended with the Chinese betrayal. Another thing that we need to be wary of is, the time it will take for the Chinese to come back and occupy the place vs the time it will take us to mirror their mobilization in the case of eventuality.

Also Russian media claiming 45 Chinese were killed when the Chinese media has been deliberately mum is weird. Is this the beginning of a falling out between Russia and China?
I feel like Russia has been incentivised by India some how which made this happen.
