LOC Flare up: Related news and Discussions

Well sadly WOT of Pak army has nothing, absolutely nothing to boast off or be proud of, except changing names of operations and displacing huge number of population there is still no change on ground situation.

You think fewer number of attacks for an year or two somehow makes your War of time pass successful? Think again.

Regarding your comments on Indian army and actual war like situation I can only pity you, I don't consider pak army like you consider indian army even when everytime pak army faced with serious opponents ran away. Wake up wherever you are living.
Oh the typical Indian "1971 Syndrome"?
We lost to our own political situation and to Mukti Bahini not to Indian army.

Yup.
General Makenshaw was friend of many top Pakistan generals as they all trained at Sandhurst.
It wasn't a surrender. It was actually a safe exit agreement.

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: @_Anonymous_ , get a load of this. Such evasiveness and mental gymnastics all to pretend that India didn't split them in half and force 93,000 of them plus a General nicknamed "Tiger" to surrender. He calls an unconditional surrender an "agreement."

Yea, we dictated and you agreed :LOL::LOL:

Not just 71 while you are at it.

I was talking about your war on "terror". The best I can think of is Karachi Operation against MQM, that's the only temporary successes you have after assigning police duties to rangers from last 27 years in your economic capital. I don't know how long this will last.

Your statement before was admission of how effective your war on terror was in comparison to indian wot. As you said your terrorists are still heavily armed and trained and ours are reduced to womanizing juvenile thugs looking for cheap publicity. We have effectively ended the training and supply lines even when almost all of the warfare was in urban area with high probability of collateral damage.

We have completed this all with surgical precision and minimum loss of civilian life though it is unavoidable due to battlefield location and very regrettable.

However in your case there is blanket ban on media coverage, even your Parliament can't summon or know the actual figures of civilian casualties or army casualties in FATA , Blochistan.

Amazingly with tanks and carpet bombing, blowing roofs of every house in village you still kill only "suspected terrorists" without any collateral civilian death which is not possible by best of trained armies, so either you are systematically made brain dead that you just can't question or think which any free person will do or you think in this defence forum is like that famous one where there are only madarsa chhap jihadis that will believe anything you say.

Yeah.
93000 weren't all combat troops. It was the grand total which includes family members, clerical, office and civil staff working for armed forces. Actual combat troops were 30 -35 thousand.
On the other side was the whole Indian army. A million of them and hundreds of thousands of Mukti Bahini militants.
On top of all that no willingness from Bhutto of west Pakistan to reach an agreement with Sheikh mujeeb, who was in Mianwali jail from March 1971.
So it was a logical decision made by General Niazi to reach an agreement with General Makenshaw for protection for existing Bangladesh as it wasn't a war worth fighting for.

Ex PA personnel speaking . What would you expect ? Blew away the central operating myth of the PA of the so call martial race theory and all that bunkum of 1 believer being equal to 10 kafirs. Nearly 50 years later , it's still game on . They will do their best to keep the pot boiling without boiling over. Let's see what the summer holds Meanwhile , here's an interview with someone who's pretty much a voice of reason ignored and reviled by his own countrymen -

The "So called" martial race theory is correct.
Even ordinary people of Pakistan have enough guns ammo and firing practice to take on an invading army without the help of regular army.

Blew up the two nation theory for good . And since what's left of your nation still doesn't learn , let's see what do you have in what's left of Pakistan -
FATA / KPK - WoT
Sindh - MQM / Pasthun Clashes - WoT
Punjab - WoT
GB/ PoK - WoT
Baluchistan - Freedom movement on .
I guess that's enough to keep the PA occupied for another half a century . Truly , a wonderful testament to the vision of your founding fathers - M.A. Jinnah & Liaqat Ali Khan would be extremely pleased with the way Pakistan has turned out .

And it's our sincere hope they use it on each other . Forever .

And yet your "martial races" are nowhere to be found whenever there's a war, probably too busy killing each other like animals. By all means, please carry on and let us know if the ammo ever runs out...

Balochistan freedom movement is nothing now, has been going on since late 60s .
It has more to do with keeping smuggling routes open, than actual Freedom.
The province voted to join Pakistan and articles of accession were signed with state of Kallat.
Later in the 60s the local feudel lords started asking freedom as a way of imposing pressure on federal government who was suffocating their smuggling business.
It's a 20 million dollars a day business .
They know they have no leg to stand on or same as Pakistan raised Kashmir in UNO, they had done the same. In all only two Baloch tribes the Marri and Bugti have asked for freedom. But they are a very tiny minority. The other parts of Balochistan population, the Pushtoon, the Barohi, the Makarani, never asked for freedom. So it's not a problem for Pakistan.

Makes me go back to why the Pakistani Punjabi has such great vision and why the PA has been good for the nation building project . Fauji Foundation is all set to become the chief implementation agency of the CPEC. More power to them .

What can I say. We love our guns.
Even I got two Kalashnikovs and a Mauser at home in Pakistan.
And no it's a good thing. Areas of the country where more people have guns have very low crime rate.
Areas where less people have guns have high Crime rate.

MQM is a p
Yet in all those decades whatever natural resources were exploited from Baluchistan went towards enriching the national exchequer without contributing anything to the development of Baluchistan. Nor did you attempt to wean off the Balochis from smuggling by developing the local economy as per your own theory .

Yup Fauji Foundation is a 20 Billion dollars woth corporate. Totally legal, pays taxes and is run by retired army officers.
Supporting 9 million ex servicemen and their families providing free medical and education and much more.
That's why retired Pakistan army personnel are well taken care of and high ranking officiers also get very good retirement packages from the accounts of Fauji Foundation.
My own cousin got 1 caror worth of land on retirement and he was only a major.
Instead of being jealous, your army should follow similar model. Because civilian leadership don't care much about army and their retired.

The day the state is weakened , the ordinary citizens takes his own security into his own hands .Once the state retreats from guaranteeing individual security , the economy is the first casualty . From there to organised gangs misusing the situation to economically benefit themselves is shortest route to anarchy .

I hope you can see the fallacy of your arguments however much you try to derive logic from the sheer hopelessness of the situation apart from justifying the unjustifiable.

If we were to follow your lead , we'd be fighting our WoT in every state . While there are plenty of justifications , I can offer as to why the model you offer is a flawed one on every metric one may choose to gauge it's success , let's consider the one I've cited as adequate for the time being .

The day the armed forces becomes a mercantilist profession is the day the security of ones nation is doomed .
