LOC Flare up: Related news and Discussions

This is wrong. Airforce is supposed to be highly reactive and extremely fast in response. There is nothing like limited period war. An Air force is specifically oriented to a swift response to a limited war. If you can't win a swift and limited war, you can never win a long war if you are an airforce. Please read about Battle of Britain and how RAF changed the game.

Sir , tomorrow if we Bomb their Assets in POK , Do you think they will counter attack
Only in J and K

Ok , Even if we deploy 100 Fighters for J and K , are we Not weakening our Air force Strength along the huge IB

The Enemy always looks for Gaps , As we
Will also do so

That is the whole point of War

If it finds one , it will use it

IAF moved a sqn of SU-30MKI to Kashmir after 27th Feb. This shows that they realised their stupidity and took corrective action.

@vstol Jockey

I also find this whole notion of
" IAF would have done better on 27 Feb if we had Rafale as misleading "

WILL now we deploy our Top End assets for
CAPS

As you know that Air to Air Missiles loose their Technical Life after having flown in
The Air for certain duration

We need Tejas and MiG 29 for CAPS

@vstol Jockey

With the arrival of Stand Off Munitions

Enemy will be launching their H 2 / H 4 bombs with REK from within their territory
At any place inside India

It is upto us; when and where we Counter strike

By the Way , PDF guys confirming that LOC is HOT and PAF is conducting CAPS

So our Babaji and his Farmer Friends are right 😂

Air battles are all about reaction time. We had our main fighters located rather deep on 27th when we needed them to be deployed closer to frontline. By the time we put them in air, PAF had done its job and returned back. We lost that crucial time in reaching the battle space.

Once you reduce the reaction time, you can engage or threaten to engage enemy assets before they reach the place in space which allows them to carry out a stand off strike. If we are forward deployed, we can force the enemy to fire the weapons from far away from their own territory thereby reducing their reach. Air Battles are not just about shooting down your enemy, it is more about denying them the ability to do so while retaining capability to do so yourself.

We were expecting a Retaliation on 26 Night

But they attacked at 10 AM on 27

The INITIATIVE ALWAYS lies with the Aggrresor

How long can you keep AWACS and Su 30s flying

The Best option is get into the Tandav Nritya straight away that is
" GAGANSHAKTI mode "

In Gaganshakti , we started with 5000 sorties in 3 days

Even if conduct 2000 sorties in 24 hours
Before UN starts crying , we can inflict a lot of pain to PAF

neelum valley is easy target for ia.they hit a bus and an ambulance but we are also using artillery.there is no news about damage on your side but everything is equal.we will not allow anyone to enter in our territory.

You should help in evacuating the dead and injured 🤣

this is a long night.check damage on your side.you can't infiltrate inside our territory.155mm on our side done lots of damage as well.
Get something which can actually cross into our side first. Your 155mm are more or less useless.

Our 155mm M46 guns while seated 8-10km inside can still hit upto 20km deep.

You have nothing comparable to it in your inventory.

Your Turkish Panter guns are 18tons and your poor road infrastructure will make it next to impossible to transport it anywhere near LoC.

Even our 105 and 122mm guns out gun your guns in range lol.

You will do better to go and mourn with the families of Mujahid brigade dead ones, and maybe convince the Pak Army Regulars to start coming now 😂😂😂

Not just that. Most of PA's Shelling is target blind, I.e. the artillery observers can't actually see the target when firing on it, a consequence of setting up posts in inferior terrain as compared to the dominating positions if IA. They rely mostly on satellite maps and air recon maps to pin IA positions.

As such, PA can't correct for errors as they can't see the impact points. Thus the low casualties on our side.

Conversely right from the first salvo, IA artillery observers begin calling in corrections based on impact assessment and BDA. With a good team, the second salvo itself will find the target. Thus the higher casualties on Pakistani side.

PA has been trying to use drones for artillery observation for some years now to offset their inferior positions. But either they have fewer platforms and are only deploying them for critical areas (IB) or they haven't been effective as of yet. Own ADS confirms that on very few occasions have PA drones been airborne during their artillery firing.

Conversely on our side, Herons and Searchers go up for any major artillery shelling, adding another layer of fire direction. Combined with the artillery management system and it's remarkable to see how effectively limited number of guns can deliver concentrated, effective firepower.

Even for conventional ops, it is Especially helpful when attacking strong points without exposing own mech forces to such positions. Either the lead recon vehicle or desert rats will identify such ambush points well before main armored forces are in any danger, and call in a concentrated artillery barrage. Prevents enemy from setting up choke points and kill zones

Add to it we have Dedicated Satellites such as Cartosat and RISAT
