There's MP ATGM of DRDO & Amogha III of BDL in 3rd gen fire & forget category

3rd option

VEM Technologies AsiBal

VEM Technologies has displayed its AsiBal anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) at the Aero India 2023 show in Bangalore, which runs from 13 to 17 February.

The AsiBal is a third-generation manportable fire-and-forget ATGM. It is integrated with a tandem high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) warhead with a penetration of 750–850 mm. The system weighs a total of 18.5 kg – the launch unit 6 kg, and the missile 12.5 kg.

The ATGM has a thermographic camera and a dual-mode infrared seeker, making it effective against explosive reactive armour (ERA)-protected vehicles at a maximum effective range of 2,500 m.

The average velocity of the AsiBal missile is 0.6 Mach, and it can be employed in a default top-attack mode as well as a direct-attack mode. The AsiBal has a dual-mode day and night imaging infrared seeker and it is equipped with a compact fire-control unit for surveillance and target acquisition. It is suitable for use against stationary and moving targets.

VEM Technologies told Janes that ballistic trials of the AsiBal have been successful and that the company expects to win a production contract soon.

Amogh 3 is by BDL alone.

The AsiBal by Vem is likely inspired from mp atgm, as VEM is a partner to DRDO in that project.
I don't understand this. Do these guys expect the IA to induct all these missiles ? And how come the DRDO tolerated VEM Technologies ripping them off & stealing a march over them ? After all the DRDO one is still under trial whereas the one from VEM Technologies is almost on the verge of being certified ready for induction.

Competition is good. Brings out more innovation.

Who's developed this particular missile ? BDL ?
From old articles . Either a joint partnership or tonbo is just a supplier of some parts .

BDL has a deal with tonbo to provide EO-IR (electro-optical-infrared) missile seeker and command launcher unit (CLU) that controls and launches the missile and engages with the target before launch .

before the launch of the missile, the target is acquired by the CLU. The target picture is handed over to the missile seeker and once fired the missile with Tonbo's eyes and brain (seeker) homes onto the target with cm level precision.

Unlike older generation missile systems which are wire-guided and missile-control is with the gunner even after its fired and the missile is manually manoeuvred towards the target. In fire and forget, once the missile is fired the gunner has no control over it and its seeker manoeuvres it towards the target.

It has an ‘uncooled’ imaging system and that cuts down the necessity of a cryogenic compressor to cool the imaging sensors. This in turn results in a reduction of total cost by 33 per cent to almost 50 per cent. seeker is built on their deep-learning technology . As the missile is fired, the seeker can identify the vulnerable parts of a target and reorient the missile to hit those parts.

One thing besides other points , i liked about this missile is smokeless propulsion . Will help making it difficult to locate the ATGM team in war .
