I think that it does not have it, but the Rafale is optimal at intermediate range, that's why France favors the MICA over the METEOR and there will soon be the MICA NG. A Rafale, even without Meteor, is especially good against stealthy aircraft where you have to get a little closer anyway, whereas a Typhoon without Meteor is worthless.
Even if you made Mica NG, is it possible for Egypt to have it due to Israel factor?

Its for my Information purpose, do Mica NG will have dual homing like its predecessor and what will be the engagement range of NG and No escape zone of Mica NG?

It's not a factor for France.

Besides, a war between Egypt and Israel is exceedingly unlikely to happen as long as both countries are backed by the US. And Egypt, like other Arab nations, has long turned the page of their humiliating defeats by Israel, see how diplomatic relationships are being normalized left and right.

But Turkey, i dont think Arabs have any problem on Turkey getting stronger, yeah they have some issue with current Turkish lunatic leader.Remember when Pakistan exploded the bomb they all became happy for a muslim country becoming nuclear.
From Libya to Syria , as of today it's Turkish backed militias vs UAE/Saudi backed groups.

Rise of Turkish power in the region directly counters the influence of Arabs in the region and Turkey is viewed as a security threat even.

India, UK agree on technology collaboration for combat aircraft

Now what does this mean.....
Is this an invitation to join Tempest program or yet another offer for Typhoon...

I doubt we will enter Tempest. We do not have the kind of financial capability to join any European R&D program for fighter jets considering our current programs and the fact that European programs cost an arm and a leg.

I think this deal is meant to help our indigenous R&D programs instead, like the new engine.

It's not "even" : Mica NG is on the drawing board with a formal delivery date.
Mica NG is already sold to Egyp on Vertical launch model for navy.
Yes, MICA NG will be fitted by a new IR seeker or a new radar seeker, AESA one.
The NEZ will be higher, by at least 30% if I remember well.

All rafale deliver to india before the end of 2021 :
"While French manufacturer Dassault will deliver all the 36 Rafales by latter half of the year, the IAF is in a state of preparedness as the disengagement and de-escalation plan with the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) in eastern Ladakh is still not complete as the Chinese army is not willing to restore status quo ante in Gogra-Hot Springs sector along the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh."
It was not in april 2022 that all rafales was to be delivered ?

So 20 with these three, and 24 with the next four this month? That means that there remains 12 further aircraft to deliver within the next seven months?

Guess so. IIRC, we had 14 when they said 10 more will join the fleet by this month. So that's 24.

Maybe 8 or 9 more by the end of the year and 3 or 4 before April.

FRANCE/INDONESIA : After Cairo, Rafale ready to land in Jakarta

According to intelligenceonline, Dassault is in the final stage of negotiations to procure 36 Rafals in Indonesia. Indonesia's Ministry of Finance is negotiating to raise the funds.
India still has no specific schedule or news for the MRFA yet?

IAF spend exorbitant price for mirage upgrade.
This is a different issue. That money would have been much better spent if used to buy new aircraft; but India's problems with high-profile procurement means that it's politically simpler to upgrade old aircraft than to procure new ones. The result is expensive upgrade programs for the Mirage, for the Jaguar, for the MiG-21 even...

Yeah we have problem with everything, each and everything. Such a useless system, GOI ample amount of money to spent exclusive aircraft for PM & upcoming new Parliament. A total of 28k crore rupees could have spent wisely on our military modernisation.

While the Jaguar upgrade is a waste of money, and the Mig-21 upgrade was for an entirely different period of time, the M2000 upgrade was money well spent. You can't get the same capability for the same cost elsewhere. The Mig-29 upgrade is also money well spent.

Even if we were super rich and had the money for replacements, we would still have chosen to upgrade these two aircraft.

All depends what's in the upgrade.... Maybe some thing linked to deterrence mission... or not....

At the end India was not forced to ink the deal, so or they are full idiots, or something is hidden to common people like us.

I am not telling that upgradation was unnecessary, what i am saying is Mirage is a costly platform for upgrade. There are multiple reasons for that.
And the way we giving priority un india too s**ks. GOI & Parliament will take swift decision related to ministry but when comes to military gears they will take hell lote of time for finalaisation.
Look at central vista project, they dont have any problem in spending 20k cr even during pandemic.

I beleive the reason for high cost is, unlike f16 mirage is not so common. The technology development for few specimens costs high. And french labour, i dont know specific cost of french man hours but i heard that wester European labour cost is costlier.
