Seems gov will do ‘deep selection’ for successor & not follow traditional norm of senior most taking charge -
someone who accepts #Rawat’s military reforms of dividing limited air assets!
If you insist on reading his twitter feed feel free to do so. But must you inflict this on us ?Air chief ACM RKS Bhadauria retires on Sept 30, yet gov has not announced his successor

I hate this guy,but his opinion on cds does have some weightage I believe. If you insist on reading his twitter feed feel free to do so. But must you inflict this on us ?
Every time I see his name/dp I have to mentally prepare myself to read a word soup comprising of 5th gen warfare/domain/cyber/AI/ML/drones etc etc.I hate this guy,but his opinion on cds does have some weightage I believe.
I totally understand how you both are on the same wavelength. No need to bring him here as we already have you. You with a twitter account will be more dangerous than him.Air chief ACM RKS Bhadauria retires on Sept 30, yet gov has not announced his successor

In all probability , Coastal air patrolling goes to the maritime command. This has been a bone of contention between IN & IAF for quite sometime. @vstol Jockey would be the best person to answer this. Can someone point out to what the possible reservations of Airforce might be , with the creation of unified Naval Maritime Command?![]()

But the upcoming Air Defence Command won't interfere here then ?The MTC will be headed by the IN, so it practically hands over control of an IAF command in the peninsula to the IN upon consolidation. They are losing a lot of power through theaterisation.
But the upcoming Air Defence Command won't interfere here then ?
Ideally they should approach the issue in a step by step time-bound manner where the time for smooth integration shouldn't exceed 5 yrs after said commands are operationalized . In the interim , Western & Eastern Commands ought to have an Army Commander & an MTC a naval commander to pursue integration before command is thrown open to officers of all 3 forces on the basis of seniority.![]()
