Pakistan AirForce : Updates & Discussions

"joint production". LOL.
The Pakistani will just have some screws to tighten...
Incorrect. That requires training & a manual too. What's assumed to be a normal unskilled activity turned into a massive project when Pakistanis & Afghans were involved as they normally read the manuals from right to left & in keeping with the same tradition, as was observed, started fixing bolts & screws in an anti clockwise manner.

Pls don't assume things wherever the Pakistanis & Afghans are involved. Things are way more complicated than you perceive.

From 4:50 onwards, because the inner flaps of the wings are of a different color scheme as the rest of the jet & as compared to what it used to be before, he says that it may conceal ECM equipment flush with the body ala ( take a deep breath) F-35 & Su-57.
I wonder why didn't he mention Chinese jets here .

That apart this is a fairly decent assessment of the Block - III but then you've got to understand this appraisal is subjective for all said & done this is a Paxtani we're talking about where badbolapan & being economical with facts is considered normal. In fact it isn't even considered at all.

Do take note, maamu @safriz

On Paxtan's sudden acquisition of a huge qty of drones apart from developing indigenous ones & manufacturing the ANKA from Turkey with a view to export it apparently.

Watch from 2.40 onwards how he elaborates on his theory of pilot to cockpit ratio & why's Paxtan winning this battle of pilots to cockpits ratio with India. From then on the typical Paxtani intelligent analysis comes thick & fast.

Argentina allocates 664M for JF-17 Block III purchase in FY2022

Yesterday, the draft budget for fiscal year 2022 was presented to the National Congress, which includes a request of US$ 664 million for the acquisition of JF-17 Thunder Block III fighters.

Thus, it is now clear which is the choice of the Argentine Air Force (FAA) for its next supersonic fighter, discarding the offers from Russia, USA and India.

When you see it

After chest thumping for 2 years, another lie peddled millions of times over exposed. PL-15 now claims 145 km range lol.

Don't believe that. Because it doesn't mention the altitude. Without altitude, the range is meaningless. The information there is incomplete.

This is much more complete information.
The missile could be launched from different altitudes-it can cover 110 km when launched from an altitude of 15 km, 44 km when fired from an altitude of eight km and 21 km when the altitude is sea-level.

That 145Km could be at an altitude of 8Km too.

How credible is the J-10C rumours?

Best news if it's a new contract, since it doesn't add as much capability compared to the cost, when the new JF-17 already almost does the same. And it will take the PAF at least 7-8 years to get enough numbers and get trained on it, by which time the jets will be outdated compared to our inventory. Money better spent elsewhere.

Of course, it's a different story if the jets are second-hand and coming in practically for free. Throwaway price + quick induction will make it a major threat to our yet-to-be-upgraded MKIs and yet-to-be-inducted LCAs.

Anyway, as far as Pak rumour mill goes, an upgrade to the J-10C is the most realistic one.

What happened to JF 17 cAn do all the roles of J10..?

That means Gap between J10 & JF 17 is wide enough... Makes me believe JF17 doesn't have any growth potential.

I don't think it ll undergo any significant upgrades.
He has a YT channel too. Quite funny guy TBH.
