Rafale DH/EH of Indian Air Force : News and Discussions

Keynesian economics is how. Scrimp and save in good times, spend during crisis/pandemic.

United Kingdom Public Sector Net Debt to GDP

United Kingdom Public Sector Total Spending to GDP

United Kingdom Government Budget

France Government Debt to GDP

France Government Spending to GDP

France Government Budget

Seems like excellent news, Paddy. The more the debt the deeper you sink. Damned if you do & damned if you don't.Plus no deal Brexit. That's the icing on the cake.

The figures say that France is considerably worse off, but we can't expect you to be able to read simple bar charts can we Mr. Moo?

France is part of the EU. They can always rely on Germany to bail it out. Not that they need Germany but that's their Trump card whereas you're up shit creek without a paddle, bullock. You're all alone in this. No EU, Brexit rules, no deal looming on the horizon & on & on.

For example we can watch how France and the UK have passed through the COVID crisis using your own figures for the evolution of GDP
UK : -2.8 -19.8 +15.5 = -6.8
France : -0.2 -5.9 -13.7 +18.2 = -1.6
Well I find that - 6.8 is considerably worse than -1.6

:ROFLMAO: Yeah sure, bail out France as well as Greece. France is the second largest contributor to the EU budget. If France goes under, the EU is done.

I would also say that 98.1, 55.6 and -3 are considerably worse than 80.7, 39.3 and -1.8 though. You're spending 16.3% more of your GDP to achieve that 5.2% delta.

B2 was never studied to be supersonic.
But it was a promise of LM during the F35 design phase. They failed. And supercruise is one of the quality a 5th gen aircraft must have according to LM définition.
B2 is FOC.
F35 only won a political IOC. With a lot of issues to solve. And I think that it will takes time.

The German case would have been interesting.
The Germans have faired better but are still badly affected.

This is precisely why I keep kicking you, Paddy, for you deserve it. Why didn't you post the Q2 results? This is known as intellectual dishonesty. Ooops! What am I saying?

& this is the UK @ 30/09/2020 with a GDP of -21. 5%

80.7 is without taking into account the Corona crisis

UK public debt exceeds 100% of GDP for first time since 1963

Yeah, and so is your 98.1%. God only knows what your national debt is as a percentage of GDP now. Oh wait, let's ask him:

One is annual to annual, the other is quarter to quarter. They both show similar trends. Your point here?

114 against 100 compare to 100 against 80 That's what I said at the beginning: we are weathering the crisis better than the UK.. The gap between our debts was 20 points, it is now only 14 points and we will see what it will be at the end of the crisis.

114 is as of 1st September though, whereas our one is up-to-date. You have nearly 3 months of further hell to add to that yet, and your deficit was 3% vs 1.8% for us. Plus your spending was 55.6% of GDP as opposed to 39.3%. We have more scope to up taxes.

So France went up by 1.151x and UK went up by 1.139x. I rest my case. You are doing worse than us and Spain.

On a side note, I didn't realise Italy was that high! Any figures for Greece.
