It's other weak point was logistics. And HIMARS's strong-suit is removing logistics. More people means more supplies and more ammo, and more Russian dead. At best a decently trained 300k of men with an equal amount of armour and artillery as the first bunch, will simply put Russia back to near where it was in February, but Ukraine is far better equipped now. Both the LPR and DPR are broadly done, not that very much of them existed in the first place, the always relied heavily on the Russians.
