Blinken says Poland sending fighter jets to Ukraine gets a 'green light' from US​

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Sunday that plans for Poland to send a fighter jets to Ukraine have gotten "the green light" from the U.S. and that the Biden administration would work to backfill those needs.

Host Margaret Brennan on CBS's "Face the Nation" asked Blinken, "If, for instance, the Polish government, a NATO member, wants to send fighter jets, does that get a green light from the U.S.?"

"That gets the green light. In fact, we're talking with our Polish friends right now about what we might be able to backfill their needs if in fact they choose to provide these fighter jets to the Ukrainians. What can we do? How can we help to make sure that they get something to backfill the planes that they're handing over to the Ukrainians?" said Blinken, who is currently in Moldova, Ukraine's southeastern neighboring country.

Indians are the last one worrying about that. UPI and Rupay platforms have wiped out VISA and Mastercard dominance here. So much so that both visa and Mastercard have cried to USA Govt. about getting thrashed and being made irrelevant in the Indian market:

That's BS! The majority of Indians still don't use it because if they use it then they have to declare where the income in coming from and pay slab wise tax on it. And this is the reason government spent 170 million dollars to promote RuPay.

Conflict between India & china is high in himalayas where it is barely populated while for russia it is in populated zone. Siberia is more near to china mainland than ladakh. There are lot many factors in play , it is not as simple as you think. For example in europe itself French would be happy that role of US , UK & germany's influence is diminished by russia.

Never read such nonsense. Firstly the US is supplying Ukraine with weapons and materials support. Russia would not give you this in an encounter with China. You are not as important to Russia as China is. Do you plan on invading any neighbouring countries? If not then I don't see you being sanctioned.

what weapons ? Those anti-tank & shoulder fired AA guns will not help them win the war but will only prolong & destroy the country. When US & Nato instigated Ukraine against russia they should have put boots & provided advanced weapon like missile systems. Very fact they did none of it shows their only intention is to only hurt russia not to save ukraine.

There are lot many variables in India-china equation it is not as straight forward as you think. A strong china is more danger to americas allies in south east asia than to India. Once south east asia falls then it will be american islands of guam, US will only let china become strong at its own expense.

American sanctions will actually prove counter productive in the long run, china actually gets to tie up with russians and gain their market. They are already getting priced out of many markets by china , now americans are helping them even more.

Maybe, but my point is still that if you feel unsafe you don't antagonize a huge military power like Russia. If he had toned down then Putin will look like a much bigger warmonger than now. Nepal and Bangladesh do not sing praises of China and ridicule us.

Look simply put it is a clash between two big powers for influence , one is fighting directly and other one is a proxy. These ppl will fight anyway nothing is going to stop them. If there is no benefit why would any third party support any of the sides.

I am more worried about the DNS servers and their quality w.r.t. India than all these credit cards and visa problem. US has the largest number of DNS server, if they close it for India then I am pretty sure it will be partial black out.

So India has to really take care about it's Internet communication. Already reliance and TATA are doing the core work but then then the coverage of it is still very limited. At least India should have it's own Internet for south Asia , also Satellite internet like what google provides.

Neither. Our mistake was choosing socialism over capitalism. Had Nehru gone capitalism back in the 50s, we would have been a developed country today.

for that time , it was required I would say so. This socialism / capitalism definitions are more suited for western propaganda rather than any thing. Its not all that capitalist countries succeeded, most of the south east asian countries which are successful now were once tin pot dictator ships backed by US.
