Because they know that any other fighter other than F-22/F-35 won't survive Su-30/35/57, Mig-31 and S-400. They don't want bad publicity for their products if RuAF destroys them in air battles.
And there is no way US is going to part away with F-35s to Ukraine. Everyone knows it. US just wants Ukrainians to die for their cause of weakening the Bear without providing them with their crown jewels.

None to spare. Lengthy training requirements. If they get Western jets it will likely be F-16s, or possibly F-18s when Canada starts replacing them. M2000s are an outside possibility where they're also being replaced by F-35s, but that's not until 2028.
Those Russian fighters can't even survive the act of flying, never mind air combat.

As for S-400s, there's no need to deal with them given the standard of Russian driving.

Seems like the sht is hitting the fan for Russia in Bakhmut and Ukraine hasn't even started its offensive. I thing Prigozhin is positioning himself when it collapses and starts the blame game war. He doesn't speak ill of Pooty just his underlings but even that is very dangerous especially going rogue/public like he has calling out Russia's top generals.
I guess we're going to see how much power Prigo has as in how long before they take him out IF they take him out at all.
At the start of this war Russia had numerical superiority in artillery but they pissed NATO off enough to bring about a kind of industrial mobilisation, now Russians are working around the clock unpaid, whilst NATO defence industries are just ticking over and still producing more.
If they want to support the invasion of a democracy in Europe, they deserve it, plain and simple. It's not like they weren't warned in advance either. I'm sure if we were supporting a Russian enlargement of Manchuria, they wouldn't be happy either.

Seven Chinese businesses have been listed in a new package of sanctions that will be discussed by EU member states this week, the report said, citing a copy of the sanctions list seen by the FT.
According to the FT, the sanctions list includes two mainland Chinese companies, 3HC Semiconductors and King-Pai Technology, along with five from Hong Kong including Sinno Electronics, Sigma Technology, Asia Pacific Links, Tordan Industry and Alpha Trading Investments.
