Ukraine - Russia Conflict

London has delivered Storm Shadow to the UKR - no number quoted.
In reality, its range is greater than the official 250 km. Very accurate and with a unit load of 450 kg, it does not seem to have been used by the UKR yet.
It's likely been limited to 300km range. That must be why Russia media said we are 'especially blood-thirsty' recently. They brought this on themselves by repeatedly sending cruise missiles and drones into civilian targets in Kyiv and other cities.

French President François Hollande told journalists writing a book that its range was 560 km, drawing hostility from the French military because the information was classified.
The RAF website also states over 300nm (560km) on a lo-lo flight profile. So theoretically it could travel at sea level all the way to the Kremlin but it's likely been tampered to prevent that. The range makes sense really, NSM does 100+nm lo-lo and 300nm hi-hi-lo altitude and that's tiny compared to Storm Shadow.

They could do with some decoys to aid penetration. Likely to be launched by Su-24s IMO.

Which platform will launch this missile?

Russia rapidly losing ground to west of Bakhmut. They've now been backed away from the H-32 road below Chasiv Yar considerably.

YES, i agree, but there is some uncertainty as to whether the version delivered to the Ukrainians is restricted or not. i can't say, don't know.
As long as it can reach Sevastopol and the Kerch bridge, that's enough.
