Ukraine - Russia Conflict

If a battery with 6 launchers and 2 radars is "damaged", then all it needs is 2 launchers and 1 radar to be considered operational. No one has defined the damage. There's nothing reported from the Russian side either. Pictures or it never happened.
If you were targeting a Patriot battery, you would target the radar because it's the most expensive piece, probably the most fragile, and destroying it puts the battery out of commission.

Aside from that they said the damage was fixed in the field. So it's likely superficial damage caused by either the errant PAC-3 or falling debris.

They've lost more ground on the Western flank though. Captured a pile of rubble just in time to get encircled in summer when all the tanks run over them.

Storm Shadow cat and mouse game going well. They hit some targets in Luhansk, Russia moved Pantsir-S1/2 systems there, so they hit Mariupol airfield. This game is likely to continue.

Now with Bakhmut fully under Russian control, the end has just begun for NATO...

Also I'm waiting for US to approve F-16 sales/supply to Ukraine. They would prove nice cannon-fodder to Su-30SM/35S/57. LOL.

Costs of a Patriot battery

Launchers 4-8 - 10 mil each
Radar - 300 mil
Missiles 560 mil.

Total: 1 bil.
How many missiles though? For 8 launchers of the standard PAC-3 (non-MSE), 128 missiles would cost 128 x $3m = $384m, MSE cost might give $560m.
Missiles like Kinzhal and Kaliber are probably $1M each.
Oh sure, a 4.3 ton ballistic missile with a manoeuvrable RV and a radar in the nose, plus electronic decoys is only $1m. :ROFLMAO: Do you even believe the things you say? <-Serious question.

If Russia had destroyed a battery, it would at least be able to post satellite images of said battery, or craters on the airfield. When Ukraine destroyed stuff on Russian airfields, NATO was able to provide satellite images of it. So the absence thereof is the best answer to the question.

For example:

next time you post think logically instead of allowing your hate to cloud your judgement.

why would russians post images and give away their secrets. Second thing why would launchers / radars be in the same place after their location was identified they would be moved out.

terrorist organization will not disappear but it will embolden other cntries to stand up against the mob. Assad is back in arab league, iran & saudis are teeing off, its only in asia they are still able to play the games all due to chinese thugs.

F-16s have long been approved , they might appear sooner or later. Given that it is nearly end of life most of the donors will be giving it away to get new fighters. Now we will be able to gauge the capability of s300/s400.

All I can tell you is that when Ukraine have destroyed stuff on Russian bases, NATO has provided satellite imagery. Regardless of whether they were moved, before and after shots of the site should be possible.

It's not exactly a secret that Russia has military satellites capable of capturing imagery mate.:sneaky:

western weapons are now becoming more of a cost burden to operate, imagine the cost if it was a iranian drone that had hit instead of kinzhal.
A long grinding war will burn a hole in the finances of western backers , all that russia has to do is keep it burning instead of freezing. More than weapons supporting ukraines economy will become very tough. Russia has to just print some more euros and flood it in ukraine to make euro very competitive.

You mean like Finland and Sweden joining NATO?

So you're saying that if the S-400 can shoot down a 50 year-old fighter it's good?

It's not European countries who exceeded their entire target budget deficit for 2023 in the first quarter.
