This impacts Russia/Crimea for many years, it's unlikely to have been done by the Russians since the water level was very high due to the El Nino led rains anyway.

Rather, this makes the upper riparian regions more shallow, making it easier for the Ukrainians to attack from. Otoh, from the Kherson side it's impossible. And threatening the nuclear plant puts the Russians in a disadvantage because any accident will be blamed on them regardless.

Another major war crime by Ukraine.

The dam part (narrow section) is on the Russian-controlled side. The breach will lead to the Kriyvy Rih area being short of water for the farming season.

This is a 1937 documentary on soviet Russia by Julien Bryan ( an American photographer, filmmaker, and documentarian ) , revised in 1952 . There you ll find various geographical cultural area of soviet . Also ukraine finds a mention .

The Kerch Bridge is on the Russian side too, I guess the Russians did a good job blowing up their own bridge, just like they did their own dam.

Are you guys taught to be sheep in your schools on a daily basis or is it a weekly thing on Sundays?

This is a brutal action by Ukrain on civilian , i fear Russia may go for nuke to retaliate.
Lol. Russians have been in control of dam you have any idea how much boom it takes to breach it? Just look at the first boom Russians used at the dam a year ago... it didn't breach.

^Probably the dumbest comment ever made on the internet.

The Kerch bridge is in a remote area out at sea, good luck trying to make your way across a narrow bridge on the Dnipro to plant explosives with the Russia's guns bearing down on you. Dams are not easy to destroy either, the amount of explosives required would be huge, bigger than the Kerch attack.

Likely revenge for Belgorod. Russia had already evacuated civilians from east Kherson, Ukraine still had its civilians in affected places. There is no advantage for Ukraine to do this. Crimea is downstream of the dam, so Russia could pickup the water supply from there. It's the areas north of the dam that will suffer water shortages, which are nearly all Ukrainian. It's Russia achieving a partial grain blockade another way.
