No wonder the Crimean bridge is still up. I don't think Ukraine wants to deal will Russian POW and its citizens but there is going to be a time when that bridge will no longer be there. Likely when Ukraine starts its Crimea offensive.

Yeah I've seen "info" saying the same thing. It doesn't make sense since it's deep inside Russian controlled territory.

Or it could be there's little to no forces north of Melitopol and if Ukraine punches whatever line is there to protect Melitopol it's nothing but clear sailing/driving until the city is reached.

I don't think Ukrain will really try to take back Crimea.
Crimea is now really russian. Putin may accept to loose field in Ukraine, never in Crimea. The answer in case of military defeat (but Ukrain has not the army to do so) will be tactical nuke, be sure.
I see in a foreseable future a deal in which Ukraine will regain all the continental fields in exchange of Crimea.

Seems Russia's inevitable defeat is making its former Soviet republics bold. You have Armenia vs Azerbaijan and now Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan are going at it. Maybe chicoms will get bold and take some of that land chicoms and Indians have been recently clashing, ja?
