Wagner Group Mutiny Against Russia | Mercenaries moving across Lipetsk towards Moscow - Live Updates

Here's a 4D chess move:

What if Wagner launched the "coup", and then "failed" at it, and then decided to drive over to the Baltics to "surrender"? Will the EU take them all in? That will put 25000 highly trained and experienced Russian soldiers in the EU, probably in the Baltics.
They surely Won't take it, No matter What....
Also, This Coup seriously dents Russia's Reputation as an stable-sane-Rational Nuclear global power.
Do, you really think Putin/Russia's Elite will allow this circus, just to get russians inside Baltics?
Absolutely Bollocks!

It's a joke, bro.

What will actually happen, Prigozhin will be arrested or killed, alongside whoever's part of his inner circle, and the rest will get pardons and get pushed into service. Someone more loyal will take control of Wagner.

Of course, on the off-chance, Prigozhin could off Putin and become president. :p

And what will they do? Even if they enter, they wouldn't be able to win against the Baltic states.

And it is unlikely Putin would have allowed such a circus for such a long shot, especially with reputation of Russian military being (fairly or not) tattered in Ukraine.

Apparently the Ukrainians have regained a foothold in Bakhmut

Putin is going to have to ask Wagner to take care of it after Moscow is taken... :ROFLMAO:

No, I mean to surrender, not to fight. And then sleeper cells to activate as necessary in the future.

I'm more inclined to believe this is some kind of psyops to give Putin the excuse to push Russia into martial law.

'Cause I don't see the average Wagnerite willing to shoot at other Russian soldiers. They will very easily lose their place in Russia after all. It's not like I see them militarily succeeding either. Only some fanatics may have taken action until now.

So what could happen is after all this circus, we could end up seeing nothing but Russia under martial law. Of course Prigozhin may get the boot.

Joe Biden met with Emmanuel Macron, Olaf Scholz and Rishi Sunak

The US President spoke by telephone with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, the British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, and the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, about the situation in Russia, the White House announced in a statement.

Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris had met in the morning with the most senior administration officials concerned by the crisis in Russia. They were joined by the Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, the Secretary of Defence, Lloyd Austin, the National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan, the head of the CIA, William Burns, and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley. For the time being, the US authorities are not commenting on current events. Joe Biden will spend the rest of the weekend at Camp David, where he will continue to be briefed on the progress of the Wagner Group militiamen.

Again Putin can easily pass a decree to put Russia under martial law , This circus just does much more harm than anything that can be gain from putting Russia martial law( Which I truly don't know... What it can be)

According to Telegram channel "Fighterbomber" - run by a pilot in the RuAF - Wagner has currently shot down;

3 - Mi-8MTPR electronic warfare helicopters
1 - Mi-8 transport helicopter
1 - Ka-52 helicopter gunship
1 - Mi-35 helicopter gunship
1 - IL-22 airborne command post

No, he can't. If he could, he would have done it on day 1. That's why even in Sept last year, he could only do a partial mobilisation of existing reserves without martial law in Russia. The only place with martial law before this was in newly taken territories in Ukraine.

He is not an emperor. His people are educated, they will protest if he overreaches. For martial law, a reason is necessary for people to find it legitimate. 'Cause in the end, martial law means people will be rounded up to fight. Also most rights are suspended, the country basically goes into a pseudo-lockdown and it can be really draconian if necessary. One such rule is it suspends labour laws, people will be expected to work like slaves via conscription. Elections are also cancelled, the next general election is in March 2024. Plus martial law has to go through the Federation Council and State Duma.
