The latest J10s are the most advanced Chinese fighters having AESA Radar and carbon composites and is definitely better than even JF-17 Block-3 but also more expensive than it. So either more of a case of sour grapes or China not ready to give it's latest technology to Pakistan.

As for us the words of our armed forces matter. We live in a open democratic country where armed forces and government both are accountable. Every loss of equipment and Life is acknowledged unlike a quassi military dictatorship democracy Pakistan where everyone lies from armed forces to puppet PM whose hands are wrunged by military from behind to tell lies of bravado of Pak army Salwars..
I would accept the surprise element of PAF but just like Kargil Pak armed forces have habit of hitting it's own foot with grand strategies but failing to assess Indian response to it.
IAF did got surprised and fumbled in start also their hands were tied due to RoE but as soon as IAF started responding PAF Pilots were shitting bricks and were so scared they just dropped bombs from far away and missed target by miles. Regarding Su30mkis they succeeded in dodging 5 AIM120D which were again fired from maximum distance and failed to hit even a single su30mki.
After this the government changed RoE inducted latest Russian AAMRAAMs, and now we also have Rafales with meteor, Astra, Astra MK2 coming up in a year, Tel PAF to try that ANTIC now...
