Shooting down One F 16 does not make
Feb 27 as a successful Day

We shot down our own MI 17

Sukhoi 30 could not get a firing solution
And just managed to evade Amraams

There were no SAMs where PAF attacked

So in totality , what are we going to write

Read the release.

There is no mention of any event of 27th Feb. Only one or two events are taken, not a complete comprehensive report of year. This should have made into it but I guess it was dropped or some corrigendum be published soon if it was meant to be in such reviews.

Even LOC battles are not mentioned

LOC was active all along the the Year

We are in a continuous battle on LOC

I agree.anything can happen at any time.
Some people here in Pakistan believes that wingman of mig-21 didn't return that day.i also believe this story.where is the evidence that wingman returned? Where is he? Don't mind but if you raise questions about f-16, you should also think about abhinandan wingman because there was at least one pakistani f-16 who was trying to find a firing solution on your wingman.

After 2016 surgical strike, the shatrujeet and others, plus few guys here, I can't take the name did commendable job to thwart the *censored* propaganda on SM. Just few guys are sufficient for whole ISPR. It's a fact!

In the event, did you even read the thread? It wasn't as much about Balakote as the current state of preparedness of the IAF vis a vis the PAF. I think most if not all of those here who commented / acknowledged my posts with associated emoticons did so with pre conceived notions about the said thread , without bothering to read the contents of the thread.

IMO what IAF requires is a chief / think tank who consistently monitors the situation who would have bought new version of R-77 when PAF got ARMRAAM in 2010 hence keeping the edge over them, who would have pressured the govt. to buy hawks much earlier for training.

There is absolutely Nothing to gain by thinking , what we should have done or purchased

It is ONE YEAR since Feb 27

We had a Chance to stamp our superiority.

We failed for whatever reason

THESE PEOPLE still celebrate 1965 Victory

So they will keep gloating about Feb 27 for
50 years

Unless we crush them Next time

And there WILL be a NEXT TIME

Because we have the "Best Enemy " in the world

It gives us many chances to Hit it again and again , but we dont use these chances

First we had the Excuse of Congress in power

But now what

If Next time also , IAF repeats its mistakes , or Fails to deliver people will completely loose Trust in them

In this Respect , the Army is doing much BETTER

After 2016 , Indian Army has brought them
Down to their knees

The kind of Domination and Moral Ascendancy which the Army has established over the enemy is even Greater than that after Kargil victory

IAF has to Redeem itself somehow
