Air Battle over Kashmir : MiG-21 Bison shoots down F-16

No matter how much they lie or disguise, now comes the actual question, Pakistan airforce claims , they shot one Su30, where is the video/black box recording? :D
Shutup. Stop questioning the Pakistani military. If they claim they shot down then they did shoot it down. After all, they had a music festival and an item song for their celebration too.

Well.. India too is on the same page as Pakistan when people question the efficacy of balakot strike.. We are told to "believe".. and many of us are true believers, who dont need proof. So, Both nations are not so different after all...

Mostly a Pakistani pretending to be Indian or American. You have a bunch of them on pdf. They banned all Indian members and they don't have anyone to stir the pot. So now the mods are pretending to be Indians with fake ids to get the traffic going.
It certainly appears to be like what you said. She does not appear to be a westerner, not even a hired one. Yesterday i responded to some of her posts. I think that she did not answer the last couple of my replies since she had no answer.

I's not about how many terrorists you killed or India shot down F16 or they shot down a Mig21.
My actual assessment is:

I don't have much hope from Indian air force to be honest. They need more training in recognizing buildup in air, to streamline the communication b/w men in air and in ATC, and work on intelligence gathering for better preparedness and assessment of enemy retaliation in coordination with other institutions.

Pakistan did not really give much time to IAF. Clearly IAF had no spot intelligence on PAF. Where as it seems PAF had intelligence on unpreparedness of IAF for the very next day as well. This is why they came.

By this Pakistan was trying to prove that, if India can conduct an intelligence led operation then PAF can do the same. It was not just about the raid, it was also about who is better in info gathering and psywar.

The problem with you is you come up with such posts even on other days. Else we'd have excused this post today as being on account of Holi.

At PDF, a member (lady?) going by the id dbc has been telling negative things about our armed forces. What do you folks make of his (her?) analysis? I think that she has some connections with the French, but has said that the Mica in Indian Mirages has failed miserably.

If she said the MICA "failed miserably," she obviously doesn't know what happened.

This is the problem, people in our country don't learn from mistakes so they don't improvise and always get caught with pants down due to ego problems.

Happy Holi!

Huh? PAF package got intercepted. PAF could not drop bombs on the target. Compared to this, Indian package went in, did its job and came back without PAF even knowing about it.
Actually that day ENTIRE PAF was mobilized to just fail to drop bombs.

I don't know what is preparedness here.

IAF also went there and got chased by PAF as per Pakistanis and coudln't drop on target. They also say the same. How we Indians going to prove the narrative? Who is right?
Already in both countries there is habit of leaders to lie about almost everything

The IAF showed high resolution satellite images to some unbiased journalists. These include Shiv Aroor, Snehesh Alex Philip, Vishnu Som and others!
I don't think if IAF missed the target and NDTV failed to report it because Vishnu Som is from NDTV.

A PAF F16, still waiting for confirmation of aircraft type, has crashed on training mission. Would be interesting to now the crashed aircraft details if it indeed is a F16.
Dawn is reporting it as F-16, need to see if any videos surface which can clearly identify the aircraft.

Both the nations are different for a simple reason that we neither did a coverup nor we refused to accept dead bodies in kargil/71/65 . Also , IA doesn't rule the country and they have no compulsion to hide casualties for maintaining machoism , a simple example is IA even publishing the beheading done by PA .

India has a better track record of disclosures than Pakistan.. But, it is not comparable to countries in the west... The Henderson Brooks-bhagat report on 1962 war is still classified.. In the name of national interests... India tries and hides a lot too.. On the casualties part, yes, India does not hide it's own casualties.. But, Balakot strike was about casualties on the Pakistani side, and India officially claimed to have killed "a very large number of terrorists" without providing any proof.. (Between Modi had everything to gain in 2019 elections.. so he had a personal stake in the strikes ).. Its simple , If GOI doesn't want to provide proof officially (not via unaccountable leaks to preferred journalists), then, India shouldn't say "very large number of terrorists" were killed in Balakot..
US released Baghdadi strike video, Turkey, Israel regularly release videos, as soon as strikes are carried out.. But, as far as IAF is concerned, it's not necessary, I guess because, Indian public is not as demanding and is satisfied by IAF's / GOI's word..

West hides it *censored* ups way more. During Vietnam America accepted the crashes but never accepted if it was shot down by rival aircrafts even during the gulf war they hid their F 18 shoot down against the mig 25 of Iraqi AF. India has always accepted it's casualties . If you look at all the casualties the neutral sources and Indian claims are more in line compared to PAF which greatly overexaggerates it's kills. The difference of their claims and neutral source claims are huge.

And when it comes to airstrike footage it was IAF's first airstrike outside its borders in the 21st century . Their inexperience in fighting propaganda is their fault though
