There were two engines. One was from F-16 and so was the drop tank.
That engine was from the Mig-21. Too small to be the F-16's.

The drop tanks was definitely from f16 .. never knew about the second engine
Yes I am surprised no went to dissect those parts which were quickly bundled into a truck while the MIG21 parts were left untouched. I am sure if there was a detailed analysis on these instead of all those high tech tadpole theories we could have had our F16 crash proof a lot easily.
This mystery will end up like PNS Ghazi, although it was sunk by IN but Pakistanis peddle lies that it met an accident.
But the fate of the pilot will come out one day. You can't just erase him from everywhere. There are colleagues, family, dissatisfied politicians etc will open up on a later date.

It is required now, not after 6-7 years. Pakistan's lie about Kargil didn't even have a pinch of affect on their foreign policy. They suppressed the effects.

We bought RVV-AE recently. It's because our older stocks of RVV-AE are approaching their shelf life.

Na In case of Ghazi even Pakistanis will not know much about the mishap, as the entire crew was also gone down with the sub, add to that the sub lies in Indian water.
In case of F 16 the entire Air force knows what happened, so was the part of army who did the cover up for PAF. Its matter of time the truth would be out

Ok. The more appropriate statement is "what media is projecting". That's not same as "what common man thinks". Of course there will be a segment of people who will buy what media sells. But in long run, if the story is not backed by solid reality it falls apart. As far as elections are concerned, people have become smart enough to segregate local and national issues and the huge variations in national and state election results speak for itself.
At PDF, a member (lady?) going by the id dbc has been telling negative things about our armed forces. What do you folks make of his (her?) analysis? I think that she has some connections with the French, but has said that the Mica in Indian Mirages has failed miserably.
