No, not in the case of Indo Pak dynamics. Do you think, after the PAF air raid, if that day no F16 had been shot down what would be the reaction of people in India?
Around 50+ aircrafts reached at the border including Mig-29, MKIs and Mirages. Only PAF ran away that day after the stunt!
I am still waiting for the answer to why the F16 blip is gone from the radar
Sometimes I relate Abhi with James Barr of jack Reacher movie who went for the kill in Iraq ...When you practice day and night you have that itch inside you and he did the same by removing an F16 blip from Minti Agarwal radar screen.

Obviously this is the first scenario. We are well prepared. We are ready even to face much larger attack from iaf.
We do this type of training regularly. This was just like a training mission. In air Force, you are more worried about air Superiority. We established sir Superiority for some minutes. We released videos. One of the video showed pilot taking aim towards army formation but then he changed the place. This assumption of paf missing targets is wrong. We did it by purpose. Obviously full scale war on 28 if we targeted formations.
We don't want war but there is capability to defend. We were expecting facing new jets on 27 but we faced only mirages,su-30 and mig.
I know about mug interceptor role but question is why we are facing an old jet? Give us something big like su-30. We want to test our capabilities more. We are satisfied and we have great pilots. We know how to defend and attack. We are professionals.

Pakistan is a rogue nation so there is high possibility of nuclear war we can use this opportunity for ending this menace forever.
Probably just the first bomb. And that target could have been hit by artillery also, so what PAF did was no big deal, PAF dint have the time to exercise the same with other bombs on other targets cause of IAF interception. But, what I find the most amusing is IAF crossed into Pak even on the 2nd day even though PAF was in offensive mode.

MKI is a BIG HEAVY air superiority fighter. For comparison Junk fighter (AKA Modern Mug) weights one third of it. In the history of PAF you never operated anything remotely comparable to it. It is not suitable to use it for interceptor duties. Because its startup time is long and QRF can be false positive like a quad copter or balloon. Not a good idea to waste it on a MKI.
Thus we have lighter less expensive easy to scramble fighters like Migs-21s and Jf-17s.

In real fist fight IAF will make PAF eat grass. There is a reason IAF sukhoi are not stationed at forward bases. Since Tejas with Elta-ELM-2052 AESA is coming to forward bases your best.. blk-52 will have hard time countering even that forget about Rafale and sukhoi's which are overkill.
