Foreign policy regarding Israel had something to do with how Indian national congress viewed the question of Jewish homeland for the European Jews. Ever since the Balfour declaration proposed a home for Europe's Jews in the middle east, indian leaders declared it as a British colonial enterprise, similar to Britain's favorable treatment to demand for a homeland for Indian Muslims.

P:S - talking about Hindu traits, Hindus of Tamil Nadu not vigorously agitated for a Tamil elam in Lanka, but actively participated in the struggle for a Hindu dominated Tamil elam to be carved out of a buddhist dominated Sri Lanka.

A lame excuse. Answer of it lies in present time. Aren't we maintaing cordial relationship with Arabs and Israel simultaneously at present time? If it can be done now the it was also possible in the past.
One more point the leadership of Arab countries is simply money minded. That is why they continued to maintain close realations with USA despite it being the biggest supporter of Israel while they could have easily sided with USSR which was hostile towards Israel.
And as far as European countries are concerned then I would say that they are extremely conservative society and have deep loathing towards Jews. That is why they still oppose Israel.
Yes I do agree Tamils supported LTTE but they supported them on the ground of linguistic similarity not on the ground of Dharma. That is why no one other than them supported LTTE in our country on the contrary people still appreciate the decision of Rajiv Gandhi to send Army for fighting LTTE.
 
Haryana: Congress women's unit chief joins BJP
In a major setback for the Congress in Haryana ahead of the state polls, the party's women's wing chief Sumitra Chouhan resigned and joined the BJP here on Saturday.V

Chouhan, the president of Haryana Pradesh Mahila Congress, was welcomed into the party fold by state BJP chief Subash Barala.

She said she resigned from the Congress as she was "totally disheartened and utterly devastated" by the party's stand on 'triple talaq' and abrogation of provisions of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.

"The stand of the Congress on these issues has totally gone against the sentiments of the people," she said.

She said she is happy with the way Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar is running the government in the state.

Chouhan has also resigned from the primary membership of the Congress.

Barala said Chouhan has been inducted into the BJP unconditionally.

In a bid to end factionalism in the party's state unit, the Congress on Wednesday named Kumari Selja as its Haryana chief and appointed former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda chairperson of the election management committee.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi also appointed Hooda the Congress Legislative Party (CLP) leader, and by virtue of that leader of opposition in the state assembly.

Haryana is slated to go for assembly polls in October.

I had told you guys that BJP will get it's lesson in Haryana for bringing up the proposal for retiring babus with 33 years of servie. They got it in Haryana.
 
You can't retire those who have shown honesty and integrity to the nation. If BJP wants to retire then pick up the corrupt ones. If the BJP don't change their policy their downfall is imminent.

Keep this article, they may need to 'find and replace' Khattar with Yogi soon. My god the kind of disconnect Baba have from ground dwarfs Akhilesh's disconnect. Happen to travel in past 1 month multiple times across good part of state and what I have heard, observed, dug out won't be pleasing to BJP supporters or BJP.

Baba wake the fk up otherwise people will gladly choose incompetent corrupts over semi competent, arrogant corrupts. Worst lot of ministers in UP, totally absent from ground, waiting for Modi to win it with zero performance, whole day busy with boot licking and chamchagiri on Twitter. Pathetic.

Both BSP and SP had better ministers, connected with public even when they were highly corrupt. Here they have mistaken chamchagiri as public service.
