That's fair then; he has me rolling on the floor with his pomposity and his complete lack of information on military matters in general.
But where did I claim I'm an expert on these topics ? As far as pomposity goes , nobody can , has or will accuse you of false modesty . That's something which just doesn't happen in your case . Woe betide anyone who complains your prolix prose is rich in form but lacking in content . Woe betide anyone who even suggests you seek validation for your credentials from strangers but are equally generous in doling the same out without being asked for it , that too in the virtual world. May I be the first out here to salute the living embodiment of the phrase - "Of what use is wisdom to a man if he doesn't profit from it ?"

Source-based news on Indian SSBN Program
1. 3 SSBN are confirmed with 1 more under the active mode of fitment.
2. Will see get the 4th within 18-24 months in water
3. Arihant and Arighat is more than 4 VLS cells (wont confirm the number but more than 4 for sure)
4. Aridhaman is more than 8 VLS cells as well (wont confirm the number but more than 8 for sure)
5. Couple of tests of K-15 from submarine launch done as well (you won't get the video ever or an official confirmation)
6. One test of a depressed trajectory K4 done as well (from the submarine - again no confirmation ever)
7. These tests are not ejection tests. Its a full-fledged operational test of the SLBM
8 . 4+ months long operational deployment of Arihant done multiple times in busy SLOCs too.
Next up is K5 or extended version of K4 test planned soon as well

U still didn't get it... It wasn't arihant that was in the dry docks for repair.Did arihant went out of commission for 10 months or is that also cannot be confirmed?
All the three names Arihant, Aridhaman and Arighat are fantastic. Guess the names of coming series. Arimardan, Ariviplav, Aridhwanshak, Aribhagn?
