Journalists posting articles for an agenda is nothing new.
From 1971 war, to Pokran, Mangalyaan, Chandrayaan, BMD, what NASA said on ASAT test, Cope India etc etc. We always had foreign media lecturing us. I learn to ignore it then. Ill ignore it now.

edit: I personally believe it to be some ATGM or Rocket rather than a ballistic missile. It could be failed launch(test) of their crown jewel Nasr also. Sorry was in meeting so made half post earlier. My mind says that it can’t be ballistic missile as doing this would be suicidal for them but we are talking about Pak so anything is possible.

Don't expect anything to come out, till the entire operation is over. I don't think the armed forces are worried about what a journalist says in a magazine.
We are doing it on regular basis. This missile falling short probably has something to do with some jammers that we have put on our posts.
They have never cared for this Info war, all they did was sent one baba over to manage the local defence crowd. I don't think we should put to much effort on this "Info war". We do what's necessary. Truth will win in the end.
If there are no elections in-between then we can wait for it..

It won't effect elections, my colleagues in office are barely aware of anything more than Balakot airstrikes. Thankfully people are ignorant enough of current events to be affected by this news.
When he says "missile" it usually means an ATGM. Something that India often uses (including recently - according to Baba himself), and something that Pakistan also tried to use (I remember recently seeing a viral video on SM of Pakee troops trying to fire an ATGM at an Indian post but failing, saying "taar toot gayi")
When Baba says "short range missile" he means an ATGM, not an SRBM.
