Does this mean that an EW suite can create an illusionary maayavi target to deceive the enemy into firing their missiles on to a non-existent air borne target? I guess that is what must be an "electronically simulated target" when testing the missiles? That would be such a marvelous thing to fool the enemy's missiles into chasing an illusion.

But that would be pretty difficult.. as it would require the EW Suite to not only fool the mig 21 radar, but Indian AWACS and ground radars as well, and simultaneously create these mayavi targets for each one of them... I would say such technology is still I the realm of science fiction
