If you don't see any movement on the ground, in the air or on land by our armed forces, you can bet that there's some serious negotiations going on at the back end on give & take.

Let's not forget, we've a bania as a PM. He's try and strike a hard bargain falling which I've no clue what he's do. But I doubt this is going to be escalated further.

Everything else including the 5 pm press meet is all about optics.

Here is my idea of de-escalation -
1- India accept Mig loss and pilot captured - Done
2- Pak accept their aircaft loss
3- Pak need not to accept that they operated terror camps, India can show some structure demolished. Keep the whole act ambiguous.
4- Pak handover Azhar.

Forward step
1- India scrap 35A and 370 in kashmir
2- Hold talk with Pakistan on Kashmir
3- Agree to convert LoC into IB with some corridor between kashmir valley and PoK for free movement.

Let me put down the sequance of events starting 26th early morning. This will show you how stupid complete Pak establishment is and how incompetant they are. I used to have some respect for PAF but now put them at par with Jihadi Pak Army.
  • IAF strikes Camps inside Pakistan on early hours of 26th. India declares what they did and why. All aircraft return back safely and PAF is not even able to detect the ingress of these aircraft. They launch aircraft after the strike returns back.
  • 27th morning, 12 F-16s take off at dawn to bomb Brigade HQ of IA. They are challenged and in the ensuing combat. We lose a Mig-21 Bison and they lose a F-16B.
  • People on ground watch two aircraft crash in POK and three parachutes. The game starts after this.
  • DGISPR claims two IAF aircraft down. One pilot in custody, one in CMH and two at large. Why did he claim four India pilots? They probably thought that the two IAF jets shot down were SU-30MKI.
  • They did not even realise that one of the aircraft was their own and was a twin seater. PAF even failed to inform DGISPR what had exactly happened.
  • ISPRcontinues this lie till afternoon and changes to one IAF jet shot down but still claims to have two IAF pilots with them. The narative changes to just one aircraft shot down. No mention of two pilits at large and in area. Who were these two pilots at large and in the area? They were the PAF F-16 Pilots.
  • This confirms that ISPR mistook PAF jet shot down to be an IAF jet and its own pilots were called as Indian Pilots. This leaves no doubts that indeed two aircraft were downed on 27th Morning in POK.
  • Later in the evening DGISPR comes on TV and confirms that they have only one pilot in their custody and the visuals of Wg. Cdr. Abhinandan are made public.
  • On 27th evening when Pakistan is thumping its chest, India moves forward its Navy and suddenly their is a complete melt down in Pakistan. Blackouts start, Pak remains awake the whole night. People start praying to Allah for mercy and approach nearly every nation with pleadings to somehow avoid the war.
Now this sequance of events projects entire defense establishment of Pakistan in very poor light. They resort to lies and have no knowledge of their own operations. This also shows that they resort to bandar ghudki everytime and have no heart to fight a direct battle.

Joint Chiefs Breifing is at 5 PM

There may have been 20 jets form their side and they may have used LGBs. How many crossed over is unclear until the briefing. Pak had claimed the bombs had fuse removed, that might be the case- there is no clarity on that until briefing. But- they targeted military targets. That is clear.

@vstol Jockey I think Vishnu Som said ...we have video of the Pak jet crashing into POK. He was giving so many updates when I was doing something else that I couldn't fully grasp everthing.

I am more inclined to meet objective. Which of my demand seems illogical to you?

Did I missed dismemberment of Pakistan to soothe your fragile ego?
