That looks like a B0269 rather than 80269.
keep in mind in the database link its written 78-0269.
I think the 0269 is the aircraft number and B is the training version.
Explains the two parachutes and two pilots missing tweet by ISPR.

Can someone who has twitter ping the tweet author about this?

If this proof aint enough.. what is?

I verified whatever is mentioned here and it all checks out. Photo I have used is Pakistani users released photos so as to avoid tempering or photoshop.

It is F-16 indeed.
I have been reading @Nilgiri comment about it. If you look carefully and match the lay of land and topography, you will see two different crash sites. we can debate whether the aircraft is F-16 or not. But we can't deny that these are two different aircraft and two different crash sites.

it is indeed 8... not B.

  • Confirmation of hit from ground.
  • Confirmation via ISPR of getting 2 planes and pilots.
  • Confirmation of wreckage.
  • Confirmation via F-16.net
  • Confirmation of Pakistani pilot being F-16 pilot.
From where the hell will 8 become B? If it was no result via 8 then it would mean nothing.
