If, after Pulwama he had called up Modi personally and said, look give me time and I will take care of it better than before, we could have stood back. Instead he listened to Jihadi Gernail and repeated the old lines - give credible evidence and I will investigate, pak is not invovled and so on.
Pakistan now had it. India has parts and serial number of the failed AMRAAM. This will nail the lie of PAF that they did not use F-16 against India. This means that US will no longer supply spares to PAF for F-16 for violation of terms of sales. 50% of PAF is going to become junk and the rest in any case is Junk.

Why do some moron develop this self perception that we lost perception battle, how the hell do you know what the world is thinking ? The whole world has not forgotten 26/11, 9/11 & abottabad. Many big economies are still asking pak to act against terror, do u think world is not listening to this things ?

The thing is we lost 40+ men from terrorists trained, equipped and supported by Pakistan. And we have given more than enough chances to peace. Either they mend their ways, or may God give us strength to wipe those parasites out from the face of earth.
If limited strikes is all we are looking for then the best way is via the Navy.
Neither the Army, nor the Air-Force can defeat Pakistan without an all-out engagement. Pakistan can respond in like until we bring forth enough assets to over-match all of theirs, which basically means full scale war.
The story is different over water where we can establish complete aerial supremacy and force Pakistani ships back to base. There should be enough opportunities in between to take as many ships down as we please. Any retort may lead to losses but we can bear them and continue to heavily retaliate with significant success. The major threats are their sub-fleet and Air launched Cruise Missiles. We can't fully neutralize those threats but can avenge any losses with greater than 1:1 ratio.
Pakistan may choose to respond via strikes on land but we only need to match those strikes proportionally whilst hammering them in our position of strength. This is a somewhat similar situation to what we face currently where Pakistani regulars attack are only equalled while we continue to bleed via irregulars without retort. The only problem is we may run out of PN ships before Pakistan runs out of jihadis.
Pakistani decision to strike military targets (which failed), as well as the plot to bait an IAF craft to bring it down (that's how we will present it) provide the perfect pretext to strike against military targets. Please don't disappoint us now NaMo.

We'll see about all that, but ever since the second day dogfight, Pakistan has been more fleet footed in its communication & in deft maneuvering. I've seen this same situation play out enough times where India had the opportunity, strength, just cause, and varying degrees of global support but still missed the window.
